Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with seven races on the card. The racing starts at 2:14pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Cambridge selections 25th February 2024

Best Bet:  R1   Keep It Klassy

Best Value:  R3   Carolina Moon

Race 1

Keep It Klassy (9) Good run in a stronger field last start. Should be hard to beat here
Itbetterbenow (2) Galloped late last start when leading. Can run top three with better manners
Storms Acoming (6) Reliable and likely to land a forward spot. Will be there around the top four

Race 2

Pixie (5) Has raced better fields and this looks ideal. Quick beginner and top selection
Call Security (8) Wide draw but a weaker field. Should go close to top three again here
Luka Doncic (3) Drawn to race handy and has to respected again in this field. Top three chance

Race 3

Dom Toretto (13) No luck in a strong field last start and races well here. Top selection
Delightful Chic (1) Big drop in grade for this. Can run top three here with a good run in transit
Sheza Mermaid (9) Should get a soft run on the pegs. Could surprise here at longer odds

Race 4

Claudia Schiffer (4) Looked a run short last start but will be fitter. Drawn well and needed here
Seaside Rose (3) Won here two starts ago and the ok last start. Winning claims in this
Rockafilly (10) Ok runs at Manawatu but in stronger fields. Good chance back in this grade

Race 5

Mazeppa 4) Led and was run down in a similar field last start. Might try similar tactics here
Alana (2) Manners needed but a rough chance at longer odds if she can step cleanly. Include
Lovemeto (11) Off a 50m handicap but smaller field will help. Will be running on late here

Race 6

Bet West (2) Normally a good beginner but has not had a lot of luck. Can win from the draw
Prince Miki (11) Raced well on grass last few starts and harder here but can run top three
Invisible (6) Going good races in nice fields. Not the worst in this at longer odds. Needed

Race 7

Oceanic Art (2) Nice draw and weaker field here. Looks one of the better chances Top selection
Benjamin Button (5) Better run last start when getting room late. Will run home quickly
Whitfield (1) Best draw for some time. Could surprise here with a good run in transit
