Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with seven races on the card . The racing starts at 4:55pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Bet:  R6   Mazeppa

Best Value:  R2   Bet West

Race 1

Stash The Cash (4) Running on when second here last start. Will be fitter and has to be included
Monaro Meg (3) Has early speed to be one of the leaders and will be improved. Good chance
Light O Love (5) Improver from her last start and only needs manners. Top three chance here

Race 2

Bet West (1) Looked unlucky last start and drawn to suit. Better run expected and top selection
Stickifingers (5) Ok last start and a threat to these if she can find the front. Can go close in this
Desert Dawn (8) Disappointing last start but better than that. Can sneak into the top three with luck

Race 3

Ragnar Lothbrok (1) Gets a draw to suit and has been racing stronger fields. Looks a good chance
Enzo (4) Has gate speed and has been trialing well. Should give a good account with manners
Kowalski (5) Has good form on the track and is in with a winning chance here. Driver change for this

Race 4

Boyz Invasion (2) Fought on last start in a similar field. Drawn well and top selection in this
Tinkerbelle (7) Ran on last start and mobile will help. Well placed here. Good each way chance
Emily Bay (1) Will be fitter after last start. Trailing draw and should get a soft trip. Include

Race 5

Messenger Buoy (1) Comes up with the best draw and a soft trip likely. Hard to beat in this
Captain Kobe (7) Much better last start and should keep improving. Winning claims here
Power N Glory (4) Due to show form and drawn ok here. Will be in  the mix at longer odds

Race 6

Mazeppa (7) Draw hurts but easy win last start and mobile suits. Can run a tidy race again
Ruby Ridge (6) Has come up with a tricky draw again. Might need luck but good recent form
Aradne (2) Nice draw and mobile will help. Upset claims at longer odds. Include in combos

Race 7

Spirit Of Waiheke (5) Good run last start and looks hard to beat in this with a good run in transit
Matai Lizzie (1) Best draw and has won three on end. Should go close to placing in this. Needed
Herb  (6) In good form and wide draw the only concern. Top three chance with a cart into the race
