Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 1:25pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Our Benson (5) Has raced well in the past and forgive last start. One of the major players
Mr President (6) Good at trials and stable go well with first starters. Can run top three here
Wharewhiti (4) Some good workout form coming into this. Needed for exotic combinations

Race 2

Hughie Wallace (10) Impressive run of form and due a winning run. Hard to beat here
Lovemeto (9) Looks to have benefited from a break. Winning claims in this field with luck
Yogi Son (12) Has a bit of a reputation and could surprise with the right trip. Include here

Race 3

The Postman (2) Drawn to land a forward position early. Ok at trials and good chance fresh up
Lockdown Louie (10) Ran some good trials in Canterbury before coming north. Winning claims
The Beaudster (3) Has run well here previously and has had a freshen up. Major player here

Race 4

Love Is Everywhere (1) Went well at Manawatu and comes north in form. Has to rate highly
Petronelli Gee (5) Getting fitter with racing and conditions suit. One for longer odds in this
Gaz Man (16) Tough handicap but looks a massive chance if he gets around the field early.

Race 5

I’llavabubbles (5) Wide draw hurts but could be hard to beat in this field if she goes forward
Forever Me (8) Mile will suit and has gate speed. Can run a quick time against these
Forever A Dancer (9) Has a good finish when saved for one run. Good chance in this field

Race 6

Daisy Duke (2) Big improver the last couple and draw puts her right in it. Good chance
John Wayne (4) Goes best from near the lead and drawn to suit. Place chances best
Caulfield (1) Goes well on the track and should get a run through early. Winning claims

Race 7

Superstar Legend (4) Quick beginner and looked an improver from her last few races. Include
Franco Hoffman (11) Tidy win last start and will be finishing on here. Can run top three
Mo Szyslak (7) Wide draw but can finish quickly with one run at them. Needs a hot pace

Race 8

Jasinova (7) Galloped last start but mobile suits and give another chance. Needed
Sans Au Revoir (2) Big run to place in a stronger field last start. Has to rate highly here
Run Forest Run (10) Big motor but will need luck from the draw. Not the worst in this

Race 9

Manhattan Sunshine (3) Ran a good second last start and likely leader here. Good chance
Voodoo Prince (2) Gets a better draw to work with and had excuses last start. Can win
Wriggles Rufus (6) Running on last start. Will need a good trip but has claims in this
