Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with five races on the card . The racing starts at 1:10pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Best Bet:  R2   Hawthornden Beach

Best Value:  R5 Always B Stunning

Race 1

Hot Jessie (5) Money for her at Otaki on grass. Can run top three here with manners
Skee Princess (2) Small field will help and should begin well. Needed on consistency alone
Two Francs (4) Freshened and has been good at trials. Might start favourite in this. Include

Race 2

Hawthornden Beach (3) Did too much work last start and easier here. Track will suit
Lukaku (8) Very good in a similar field last start. One of the better chances in this field
Spirited Peggy (1) Improver from her last start and likely leader early. Top three chance

Race 3

Irish Whispers (6) Looked close to his best form when second last start. Good run expected
Potter (7) Ok last start and a threat to the favourite with his gate speed. Hard to beat
Spirit Of Waiheke (8) Ok effort last start but tricky draw. Top three chance but luck needed

Race 4

Jasinova (4) Solid win last start and a winning chance again from the draw. Include
Barsukov (5) Will appreciate the longer trip here. Should give a good account at odds
Mazeppa (6) Out of form but improver with a place chance with driver change. Bolter

Race 5

Always B Stunning (5) Fought on last start in a stronger field. Top selection in this
Kevin Kline (3) Had excuses last start and well placed here. Good each way chance
Reet Petite (4) Will be fitter after last start win. Up in grade but not the worst
