Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 5.49pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Best Bet:  R1   True Story

Best Value:  R6   Hesashorething

True Story (6) In good form and likes the track. Should go close here and top selection
Quik Sharnie (2) Getting better with racing and improver here. Winning claims at longer odds
Shesgold (4) Manners the key but respect the stable. Can run into the placings with no mistakes

Race 2

Illusive Sunshine (9) Conditions suit and drawn to race handy on pegs. One of the better chances
Jacqueline Rose (6) Change of trainer for this but previous runs had merit. Could surprise with luck
Carolina Moon (11) Another with a change of trainer. Gets in a winnable race here. Not the worst

Race 3

Faith In Manchester (1) Manners will be key but has the speed. Major player with a good trip
Bellatrix (8) Racing well in better fields than this. Has to be included here and can run top three
Phoebe Majestic (6) Has been racing well on the track. Place chance with a good run in transit

Race 4

Perun (1) Likely to get a good fence run from the draw. One of the better chances in this
Medina Magic (6) Freshened and plenty of ability. Only need a quick beginning to show her best
Messenger Buoy (5) Consistent form before galloping last start. Can run top three again here

Race 5

Acushla Machree (1) Has looked very good the last few runs. Draw suits and major player here
Mr President (2) Better draw for this and he will race handy. Should give a good account in this
Sunshine Shelby (3) Disappointing here last start. Can run top three with an improved effort

Race 6

Hesashorething (6) Freshened but normally a good beginner. Liked if he can lead early. Include
Bet West (4) Stand suits and due to get back in form. Winning claims with the run to suit
Bad Medicine (7) Quick beginner who is in good form. Needs the right trip but can win. 

Race 7

Wicked Wanda (8) Nice win last start. Wide draw hurts but good enough to overcome it. Needed
Diamonds Are Forever (10) Freshened but has a big reputation. Should go close to winning here
Sparkie (1) Good run last start. Improved effort takes her close to the placings from the inside draw

Race 8

Millies Sensation (7) Wide draw but drops in class for this. Major player here and top selection
No Added Sugar (3) Good finish last start. Small field will suit and can run top three with luck
Proviseur (1) Drawn well and not a strong field here. Not the worst in this from the trailing spot

Race 9

Noble Count (7) Speedy trotting mare and manners good lately. Should give a good account
Slainte  (5) Out of form but at his best would go close in this. Top three player with good manners
Lord Popinjay (6) Change of trainer and trialed ok. Good chance with a run close to the speed
