Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with nine races on the card . The racing starts at 5:20pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Bet:  R2  Demon Blue

Best Value:  R5  Voronov

Race 1

I’ll Call You (7) has been unlucky in a few of her races. Better than the form suggests. Needed
Terabyte (5) Has early speed to be one of the leaders and will be fitter. Good chance. Include
Final Approach (8) Freshened and previous runs had merit. Will be in the mix with manners

Race 2

Demon Blue (6) Nearing peak fitness and drop in grade here. Will go close to winning this
Mike Ross (5) Forgive last start in  strong field and a threat to the favourite with a good trip
Ohoka Achilles (3) Has a bit of speed early. Can sneak into the top four from a trailing position

Race 3

Santapazienza (1) Freshened and a winning chance from the ace draw. One for longer odds
Rewiri Hill (9) Should get a soft trip on the pegs and a place chance if the gaps appear. Include
Illicit Love (4) Nice win last start but this is harder. Might start favourite and can run top three

Race 4

Chanel Noire (7) Stable respect in this and has been trialing ok. Looks hard to beat in this.
New Kid In Town (3) Had excuses last start and well placed here. Good each way chance
Hearts N Aces (1) Nice draw and could receive a good trip. Should go a better race at odds

Race 5

Voronov (7) Good against similar fields recently and notable driver change. Hard to beat here
Kaipaki Jack (3) Should get a soft run handy. Winning claims at longer odds from the draw. Include
Castana (2) Back in form and drawn well here. Should land handy to the speed and place chance

Race 6

The Surfer (6) Trained locally and has raced better fields. Stand a concern but will be in the mix
Iron Brigade (6) Should get a run through early. Might need manners but chance at longer odds
Barbarossa (2) Good draw and racing well. Can race close to the speed and is tough. Needed

Race 7

Duchess Megxit (9) Speedy and dangerous if she can get the trail all the way. Opened over the odds
Sooner The Bettor (2) Best draw and has placed in a Miracle Mile. Likely leader with place claims
Merlin (11) Tricky draw over a short distance. Like the track and and best chance is to sit parked

Race 8

Bet N Win (4) In great form and if he finds the front will take some stopping. Top selection in this
Not As Promised (3) Aussie visitor who is tough. Win chance if the favourite makes a mistake
Oscar Bonavena (5) In good form and ha s a big finish with one run at them. Top three chance

Race 9

Words (5) Very quick and likes to roll in front. Wide draw but hard to beat in this field. Needed
Roy Kent (6) Decent motor and should run top two based on recent form. One of the better chances
Sunset Strip (4) Good last start. Will continue to improve and place hope again here. Each way claims
