Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with eight races on the card. The racing starts at 2:05pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Cool Phelan (2) Gets a head start on main rivals. Could surprise at longer odds
Kimkar Dash (6) Good runs in recent races. Warming up for feature later on
Sans Au Revoir (5) Manners needed but a chance if she does things right in transit

Seaside Rose (2) Better draw and will be fitter. Looks an ideal race today
Predator (7) Beaten by a good one last start. Should go close to top three again here
Cracker Rock (10) Has been good at trials. Second row draw but has claims.
Race 3
Joca’s Hill (12) Manners the key and a good chance with a safe beginning. Needed
A Trophy Wife (11) Has form. Can run top three again with a good run in transit
Barsukov (3) Only needs manners to be a chance from the front row draw. Include
Race 4
Lou Baby (8) Big win here last start. Will be improved and can double up in this
Medina Magic (6) Goes well on the track and has gate speed. Should be there abouts
Pixie (3) Gate speed to lead early. Stronger field here but not the worst in this

D J Rock (7) Drawn wide but weaker field and in form. Top selection here
Beaudiene Rocknroll (4) Has gate speed but manners not great. Place chance
Sharkies Girl (5) Might try for the front early. Chance if she lands lead or trail
Race 6
Melsadele (6) Improver for this after late finish last start. One of the better chances
Monarch Hill (2) Winning run last start and conditions suit. Will need luck but can place here
Sunnys Sister (14) Class mare with a tricky handicap. In form and can win again with luck
Race 7
Christopher Dance (7) Wide draw but has beaten similar fields. Winning claims here
The Surfer (5) Best runs have been from the front but wide draw. Can win if he leads
In Excess (6) Stable does well on the track. Could surprise with a good run in transit
Race 8
McKendrick (5) Wider draw for this but has gate speed and in form. Include here
Justcallmemiki (6) Big win here fresh. This is harder but can run top three
Claudia Schiffer (7) At her best would go close to placing here. Top three chance
