Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with 8 races on the card. The racing starts at 5:04pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Conrad H (6) Beat a similar field nicely last start and shorter distance suits. Should run top three
Murtle The Turtle (5) Small field will help and should begin quickly. One of the main chances
Benson Dude (2) Getting better with racing and dangerous if he finds the front. Winning claims

Race 2

Eyes To Heaven (5) Has put two good seconds together now and trained locally. Has to be included
Play Fast And Loose (1) Has early speed to be one of the leaders. Not far away last couple. Needed
Whats Up The Hill (8) Freshened and at his best would go close. Should produce a tidy run here

Race 3

Loteria (8) Mobile suits and driver change for this. Can win with no mistakes in the running. Include
Maro Mackendon (7) Ok last start and a threat to these with a good run in transit. In the mix here
Stone Cold (3) Good effort last start and better draw. Can sneak into the top three with luck in transit

Race 4

Always B Charlie (5) Solid second last start and a winning chance again if he pushes forward early
Irish Whispers (1) Has the best draw and goes well the track. Should give a good account from the ace
Dixieland Delight (2) Goes best with one run at them and conditions suit for this. Top three players

Race 5

Kenny Hill (7) Fought on last start in a similar field. Needs to bring his manners but good show here
Rewiri Hill (3) Had excuses last start and well placed here. Good each way chance with a soft trip
President Flynntin (4) Will be fitter after last start second. He is a good chance with no mistakes early

Race 6

Barbarossa (6) Good against way tougher fields in the past. Hard to beat against this lot
Katies Princess (3) Should get a soft run handy. Winning claims with her gate speed. Include
I Can Too (5) Due to show form and driver change here. One of the better chances in this

Race 7

Look To Da Stars (1) Gets a head start on main rivalss. Will need manners but should go close
Johnny Who (4) Much better last start and will be further improved. Winning claims here
Hayley Mhor (6) In good winning form and this field not much stronger. Can make it four in a row

Race 8

Makorori (4) Gets a chance to break maidens in this field. Top selection and looks hard to beat
Spirited Peggy (6) Decent motor and has early gate speed. Should give a good account here
Moenui Miss (1) Battled on last start. Will continue to improve and top three hope from the ace
