Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with 9 races on the card . The racing starts at 5:47pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Bet:  R3  Mhai Surfer Girl

Best Value:  R5  Double Jeopardy

Race 1

Ivanka (3) In good from and due to get a maiden win. Should run top three here with manners
Rise To The Occasion (4) Freshened and should begin quickly. Can add to a consistent formline
Aldebaran What (8) Getting better with racing and just needs manners to be a threat in this. 

Race 2

Sea Of Love (7) Consistent form and conditions suit here. Top selection and has to be included
Tyron’s Connoisseur (4) Much better than the form suggests. Can give a better showing here
Showtym Girl (1) Improver from her last start where she galloped. Top three chance in this

Race 3

Mhai Surfer Girl (4) Looks well placed here and drawn to give a good sight. Good run expected
You Little Beauty (7) Ok last start and a threat to the favourite with a good run in transit. Needed
Joes Rock (8) Good effort last start but tricky draw. Can sneak into the top three with a cart up

Race 4

Bettor Reaction (7) Solid tough second last start and a winning chance from a bad draw. Include
Diamonds Are Forever (10) Has plenty of speed and goes well the track. Should give a good account
Clouding Over (1) Out of form but improver with a place chance at longer odds from a good draw

Race 5

Lovemeagain (6) Will be improved and track stats good. One of the better chances in this
Barsukov (2) Has early speed and goes well the track. Should give a good account again here
Romeo Foxtrot (7) Easier here than his last start and a winning chance chance on a track he likes

Race 6

Double Jeopardy (8) Fought on last start in a similar field. Top selection in this but tricky barrier
Matai Phil (6) Had excuses last start and well placed here. Good each way chance with luck
Irish Whispers (3) Will be fitter after last start. Could surprise from a nice draw with a soft run

Race 7

Iron Brigade (2) Good beginner and has been racing tougher fields. Hard to beat against this lot
Le Major (5) Should get a soft run handy. Like the track and each way claims if he goes forward
Louezyana (7) Due to show form but tricky draw. Driver change and one for longer odds in this

Race 8

Kawarau Lil (4) Easy win last start and similar field here. Can run a tidy race again in this
Eagle Hanover (2) Should get a run through early. Might need luck but can lead for a long way
Patrick Mahomes (1) Inside draw and racing ok lately. Upset claims with a soft trip here

Race 9

Rasmussin Effect (3) Has looked good at trials and trainer has a good record with first starters.
Tennesseeghostpepper (2) Decent motor and drawn well here. One of the better chances
Cranachan (6) Disappointing last start. Will continue to improve and place hope here
