Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with 8 races on the card. The racing starts at 5:09pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Value:  R8  Semba

Race 1

Brother Johnson (9) Souther form was excellent and looks stronger now. Can run top three
Niamh (4) Ok fresh up in the North. Should give a better sight with a faster beginning
Scoots (2) Getting better with racing and gets a head start on favourites. Place chance

Race 2

Franco Miki (3) Has been doing too much work in his races and easier here. Top selection
Tuareg (7) Fitter now and change of driver for this. One for longer odds and could upset
Always B An Angel (2) Improver from her last start and weaker field. Top three chance

Race 3

Father Barry (8) Back to the mobile will help and no doubting the speed. Good run expected
Boss Jo (4) Ok last start and a threat to the favourites with a good run in transit. Needed
Crazy (3) Good effort last start and nice draw. Can sneak into the top three with no mistakes

Race 4

Ace Dancer (1) On debut but trial and workout form has been good. Likely favourite. Include
Amaretto Delight (5) Wide draw but goes well the track. Should give a good account in this
Masie Flak (2) Improver with a place chance if she can get a soft run in transit here. Needed

Race 5

Benson Dude (2) Fought on last start in a similar field. Quick beginner who will try to lead
Run Mason Run (1) Had excuses last start and well placed here. Good each way chance
Ohoka Achilles (8) Will be fitter after last start. Wide draw and will be running on late

Race 6

Highview Rockn Roll (5) Good against a similar field last start. Extra distance suits
Liaison (8) Out of form but at his best would go close to winning this. Give another chance.
Hughie Wallace (6) Due to show form and drawn ok here. Manners needed but capable

Race 7

Showtym Girl (1) Best draw in the field and should get a soft run here. Winning claims
Flying Dragon (5) Decent motor and nice maiden win last start. One of the better chances
Gotta Go Miki (6) Disappointing last start. Will continue to improve and place hope here

Race 8

Semba (4) Fastest horse in the field and has been freshened. Wide draw but can go close
Bettor Reaction (2) Decent motor and is drawn well here. One of the main players in this
Herb (5) Disappointing last start. Will continue to improve and manners only concern
