Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with 9 races on the card. The racing starts at 12:43pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Best Value:  R6 Ragnar Lothbrok

Race 1

Proviseur (5) Easy win last start and goes ok the track. Will be running on if the pace is hot
Says Who (3) Has been freshened and should begin quickly. Stable respect on home track
Mandala (8) Getting better with racing and normally quick off the gate. EW claims here

Race 2

So Mystifying (10) Hasn’t been too far away from the placings and has to be included in this
Sharp Image (6) Has early speed to be one of the leaders and will be fitter. Top three chance
Alex Pereira (9) Manners needed but did score a nice maiden win on the track. One for odds

Race 3

Lincoln Lover (4) Looked to be battling on well here last start. Good effort expected in this
Tahi (2) Stable respect with debut runners and drawn well. Can win with a good run in transit
Sweet Vintage (12) On debut but has been ok at trials. Can sneak into the top three with luck

Race 4

Caulfield (8) Big finish after getting back last start. Winning chance if he gets handy early
Tipstar (5) Has gate speed and goes well the track. Should give a good account again in this
Sea Of Love (3) In good form and will get a soft run from the draw. Goes well the track. Include

Race 5

Conrad H (2) Fought on best last start in a slightly weaker field.  Go again in this lineup
Hayley Mhor (5) Placed here in a stronger field at big odds last start. Good each way chance
Jasinova (8) Will be fitter after last start. Dangerous if she gets  flyer and can lead up. Needed

Race 6

Ragnar Lothbrok (1) Fought on last start in a stronger field. Best draw for some time. Include
Kings Watch (7) Easy win here last start and can do some work mid race. Good each way chance
Captain Kobe (6) At his best would be hard to beat but needs the right run on transit. Upset claims

Race 7

Shezabettorgirl (5) Good against a tougher field last start. Hard to beat if she gets a soft trip
Katies Princess (3) Should get a nice run handy with her gate speed. Winning claims in this field
Spirited Lou (2) Due to show form and drawn well here. Upset chance if the pace is on all the way

Race 8

Trifolium (3) Gets a head start on main rivals and has the speed to go close to winning here
Brienne (4) Decent motor and likely leader in the race. One of the better chances in the small field
Emily Bay (5) Disappointing last start. Will continue to improve and place hope again in this

Race 9

Mr Miki (7) Needs the right trip but has speed and will be right in the fight with a soft run in transit
Enzo (6) Decent motor and has changed stables for this after some disappointing runs. Include
Ultimate Mach (8) Only fair last start. Will continue to improve and place hope again here
