Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with eight races on the card. The racing starts at 3:03pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Race 1

Jaccka Cooper (3) Has performed well against better opposition. Needed here
Neymar (6) Draw hurts and manners iffy but has the motor. One of the better chances
Riverboy Ben (2) Drawn well and getting fitter. Track should suit and one for odds

Race 2

Joca’s Hill (1) Freshened and good draw for this. Could be too good for them here
Patrick Mahomes (6) Handicap hurts but good enough to get a place with manners
Hughie Wallace (8) Racing well and track stats good. Can run top three in this with luck

Race 3

Slots (7) Conditions suit here and draw only concern. Good winning chance in this
Savarna (2) Has not had all the luck but has form and ideal draw. Include here
Predator (6) Well bred first starter with trial form. Could surprise with luck

Race 4

Run Forest Run (4) On his recent form looks a solid winning chance. Change of driver
Ya Know (3) Good Manawatu form and has to be respected with his starting capabilities
Noble Count (6) Slow away last start. Good winning chance here with complete manners

Race 5

Kashkeeper (5) Has raced well in better fields than this. One of the better chances
Xcite Me (3) Draw helps and should be thereabouts in this. Good place chance
Classic Gold (1) Ace draw is ideal and should go close to the placings with the right run  

Race 6

Irresistible (2) Big run to win last start and should go on with it. Top selection
Our Benson (1) Back in form and could go close again in this. Has to be included”
Benson Dude (3) Drop in grade and good enough to make his own luck. Win chance

Race 7

Cool Phelan (3) On his recent form he looks a solid winning chance here. Needed
Voronov (4) Likes the track and should race handy to the speed. Include here
Alana(7) Racing well and smaller field here helps. Will not be far away with a soft trip

Race 8

Throwyaarmsaroundme (5) Racing well in better fields. One of the better chances here
Hampton (1) Big run to win for new trainer last start and should be thereabouts again in this
Acushla Machree  (6) Has winning form and could press forward early. Winning claims again
