Harness analyst – Cambridge 8th July 2020

Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with a ten race program starting at 5:25pm and in this video we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Cambridge Selections 8th July

Race 1

Lynton Creek has been racing well in strong fields recently and a good chance to get a win tonight in the amateur drivers race…..Highview Justice coming in fresh but has been good in these type of races before. Include in this field at longer odds…..The Batmobile has been racing ok and this race suits can place again……Abetterdancer Has been ok in similar races and driver has a good record in these types of races. Win hope.

Race 2

Peter Forsberg can lead from the draw and make a race of it. Winning claims and is taking money…..Fleeting Grin good third last start and can run top three here…..Itsthefinalcountdown sat parked here last start but still ran third. Has winning claims with a better run in transit…..Express Play good draw to work with and change of stable worked the oracle with him last start. No surprise to see him figure here.

Race 3

Apieceoflou has a bit of a reputation and in a hot field last start. Top selection here and can win……Romanee has the draw to suit and should run top three in this field….Hugo George ok third at his first start but this is harder and tricky draw. Can place with luck….Weren't Watching not far away last start and will be fitter here. Include.

Race 4

Liason galloped last start when well supported. Looks the winner with manners…..Alderbaran Bonny good from a stand and he looks the leader in this race. Can win if luck goes his way…..Cyclone S Adams usually a reliable beginner who should land close to the speed. Can win if the others make mistakes…..Chasing Great in good form and is a winning chance again in this field.

Race 5

Hezashadowplaya beaten by a top horse last start and has the ace draw. Top selection here…..Jaccka Lucas has been trialing well and should get a decent run through from the draw. Can place here…..Bless Me Father he has a sharp sprint when saved for one run at them. Not the worst with a run to suit…..The Greenkeeper getting better with racing and form is pretty good the last couple. Draw a concern but he will probably go forward to park at some stage.

Race 6

Delson getting fitter with racing and 2700m suits. Can win with manners….Xebec has been galloping midrace. A risk but win hopes here at good odds if he brings his a-game…..One Over Da Son racing better fields at Auckland and the 30m handicap should hold no fears for him. Will probably head forward at some stage of the race and can win…..Superfast Ninja run down last start and possible leader again. She is a place hope with a repeat performance.

Race 7

All Yours good win here last start. Can win again at nice money…..Young Conqueror coming in fresh but does race well on the track. Winning claims……Nimah Franco has been racing well this campaign and a chance to get a win fresh up in the North Island…..Mach Little Soaky racing well and will be fitter. Needs luck but can place

Race 8

Louie The Horse Disappointing fresh but will be better for it. Drawn well and has winning claims…..Milner last couple of runs have been good and cosy inside draw suits. Will be running on and can win with no traffic issues…..Racketeers Boy Has been running on in his races and no surprise to see him finish in the money here…..Largetha draw not great but she will press forward. Place claims here

Race 9

Larry Lincoln good win here first up and he was ok in a top field last start. Top selection here…..Whisky Neat racing well and better draw here can run top three with luck…..Texas Tiger a fraction disappointing this campaign and tricky draw. Place claims……Shezsomethinspecial ace draw and she should get a decent run. Can run a place here.

Race 10

Kelvinz Luck coming in fresh but looked ok last campaign. Top selection here…..Issac H racing well and can run top three with luck in the running…..Whimsical Wizard a fraction disappointing last start but money was on. Winning claims with manners……Miss Slippers ace draw and she should get a decent run. Can run a place here.
