Welcome to the Cup Day special from our harness racing analyst with selections and comments for all races.

Harness racing hits Addington again on Tuesday Nov 11 for the biggest meeting of the year. There is over $2 million dollars in stakes and the pools for all races will be massive. The TAB is guaranteeing $10,000 First fours on all races and a $50,000 Quaddie on Races 10-13 inclusive.

May drives American Me in this year’s Cup, while Purdon pilots Akuta.

Previous Australian winners of the NZ Cup: Steel Jaw (1983), Lightning Blue (1987), Arden Rooney (2015), and Swayzee (2023, 2024).

Kerryn Manning became the first female to drive the Cup winner when Arden Rooney triumphed.
