Harness analyst – Forbury 1st October

Harness racing hits Forbury Park again today with a ten race program starting at 5:05pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Forbury Thursday 30th September 2020

Race 1

Zealous Spur has a decent motor but manners could be an issue. Will be hard to beat if she steps cleanly.…… Emdeegee tidy trial win in good time. Likely to start favourite and can win first up ..… Maranatha Atlas ok last start and will be fitter. Top driver sticks with and needed here.…….. Bill coming in fresh after ok at workouts. One for longer odds

Race 2

Adhara money on last start in a strong field and has a decent motor. Good winning claims if she can get handy early……. Ontherocks has been ok at trials but trainer driver combo have a good record here. Winning claims with a good run in transit…… Sweet Chilli sprint trip around a small track should suit and runs have been better than they look on paper. One for longer odds…… Santeria good third three starts ago and a weaker field here. Chance to run in the top three at big odds

Race 3

Change At The Top good draw and his runs at trials have been good. Looks a good winning chance in this field ….. Morrissey down from Canterbury and workouts have been tidy. A good chance if he is close enough on the the home turn….. Mongolian Conqueror form has been in better fields and looks one of the better chances in this race. Needed…. The West Wing tidy draw and getting fitter with racing. Winning claims

Race 4

To Ri Caitlin hard to catch but conditions suit. Can win at decent odds with luck in the running….. Tin Roof Blues could get a cosy trip from the draw and has won on the track. Place claims at longer odds….. Tetrick running ok races at trials and workouts but draw a concern. Not the worst and has claims at nice odds if he can clear traffic …. Playboy Prince tidy draw but a bit one paced. Can run top three if they go hard up front

Race 5

Ticking Over good finish for third last start and drawn to lead and run. Top selection here for new trainer…… Clifton Jessie her runs last campaign were good and fitter now. Paying good money and should be in or near the top four if she brings her a-game… Shards Fury tricky draw but running good races in better fields. Include here… Life Of Art has been good at trials and should be hard to beat.

Race 6

Stavros The Terror getting fitter and drawn to get a good run through at the start. No reason he won’t be in the top three here from the draw.….. American Eyretime getting better with racing and looks the likely leader in the race. Should be hard to beat and is very consistant…… Brightest Moment running on in most of her starts and stronger now. Will be hard to beat.… Four Starzzz Shiraz form does not reflect his true ability. Can run top three with his mind on the job

Race 7

Don't Look Back good beginner who likes the track. Looks hard to beat and opened at great money……. The Peaky Blinder gets in off the front and this field looks within his range. Hard to beat with a clean start ….. Bev K's One plenty of ability but no manners. Respect the stable and tote the guide here….. American Viking good win last start and should go on with it. Can upset if he can get near the lead early

Race 8

American Lightning coming in fresh but has a class factor over the rest of them. Will be hard to beat here……. Sagwitch big drop in grade for this but tricky draw. Will be hard to beat if he goes forward early..… The Maroon Marauder has been solid in similar races and conditions suit. Has claims with one run at them….. Jody Direen has been ok from bad draws and lands the ace draw here. Should go close to running top three if she can trail the favourite

Race 9

Playboy's Brother good beginner who might lead here. Ould give some cheek with no attackers mid race……. Count Eyre running ok races and front row draw suits. Major player here…… Ardee Trouble normally good from a stand and running tidy races. Good winning claims here….. Rydgemont Milly has great form and should be nearing peak fitness. Hard to beat

Race 10

Star Of Timpany big on ability and drawn to lead. Should be hard to beat and will start a short favourite……. Ultimate Sassenach might follow the favourite on the fence and should go close to running top three here..… Glenthorne has performed well in similar fields in the past. Include in combinations….. Ripsnorter ok third last start but place chances look best in this field.
