Harness Analyst – Forbury 20th March

Welcome to today’s segment from our harness racing analyst.

Providing you with free expert tips and selections for harness meetings run in New Zealand.

Harness racing hits Wingatui again today with six races on the card. The racing starts at 12:00pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Forbury selections 20th March 2023

Best Bet:  R3   Borrisokane

Best Value:  R6  Bobbies Rock

Race 1

Monaro Meg (3) Raced well on grass at Reefton. Has to rate highly in this field
Cosmic Angel (5) Ok at Westport and normally steps away. Include at longer odds
Majesdix (6) Manners a concern but has the motor. Winning claims with a clean start

 

Race 2

Donald Trot (3) Grass suits and in good form. Looks one of the major players
Fraud (2) Getting better with racing and grass should suit. Can run top three
Magie Do (9) Drawn for a cosy pegs run and has been raced ok on grass. Needed 

 

Race 3

Borrisokane (10) Racing well in better fields but first start on grass. Top selection.
Tuneinsportsfans (8) Wide draw but likely to head forward early. Win chance
Louie Vista (4)
On debut and has trialed ok. Trainer can get them winning fresh

 

Race 4

Bella Button (5) Rise in grade should be no problem. Can go on with it. Include
See It Thru (9) Quick beginner who handles grass. Winning claims with luck in running
Dem Bones Dem Bones (1) Has a nice draw and racing well. Can run top three

 

Race 5

Mamma Mia (2) Has won on grass and capable of beating this field from the draw
Southern Starr (7) Better for the last start run and races ok on grass. Include
Mucho Macho Man (9) Trailing draw and should get a cosy run in transit. Not the worst

Race 6

Bobbies Rock (8) Wide draw but has a bit of speed. Worth playing at longer odds
Jonique (7) Wide draw but when right is very speedy. Can run top three with top driver booked
Jimmy Steel (4)
Ok last start and has gate speed. Good chance here and grass suits.
