Harness racing hits Gore again today with twelve races on the card. The racing starts at 12:19pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Best Bet:  R3  Vanessa Marie

Best Value:  R1  Micaitlen Denario

Race 1

Micaitlen Denario (2) Unlucky last start on grass and drawn to be a major player. Needed
Classie Linc (6) Grass suits and small field will help from wide draw. Runs best from the front
Insarchatwist (5) Grass stats very good. Running on last start and one of the better chances

Race 2

Moment Of What  (3) Has trialed ok and has winning claims on debut. Even field but include
Wattle Hill (5) Better run last start. Should go close to top three again with a similar effort
Styrax (10) Getting back and making up good ground. Can go close in this with no mistakes 

Race 3

Vanessa Marie (1) Drawn to be a major factor in this field. Can win and top selection here
Sidorova (3) Manners still a bit iffy but a top three chance with a good run in transit
Fabricate (9) Drawn to get a good run handy on the pegs. Could have the last say with gaps

Race 4

Superfast  (2) Nice draw and weaker field here. Likely to be the early leader and needed in this
Warrior Easton (6) Disappointing last start but better out and rolling in front. Could surprise here
Get Kraken (8) Has the form but grass stats not great. Top three chance from the wider draw

Race 5

Hot Saucy Betty (6) Has the motor but not the manners. Hard to beat if she does everything right
Dem Bones Dem Bones (5) Tidy run last start and conditions suit here. Will need luck but can place
Blithe (14) Tricky draw but top driver booked and in good form. Will be running on late here

Race 6

Mamma Mia (10) Tricky draw but getting fitter and can fly late. Winning claims here at longer odds
Olives Dream (5) Best runs have been from the front. Up in grade but not the worst in this
Smart I Am (1) Drawn to be a big winning chance with a trail in the race. Top three player

Race 7

Duke Of Scotland (9) Fence draw might work out ok here. Getting better with racing. Needed
Arden’s Pursuit (6) Best runs have been from near the front. Needs a fast start but chance at odds
Netherton Franco (12) Hardly ever out of the placings. Freshened for this and has to be respected

Race 8

One Change (8) Looks the class horse in the race. Will eat up the handicap and be running on here
Da Vinci (7) Small field is an advantage and looks a logical quinella with One Change. Needed
He’s A Meister (2) Has been racing well and can go close to placing here. Top three chance

Race 9

Bismarck Du Plessis (2) On debut but trialing ok and drawn well. Top driver booked for this
La Bamba (9) Much better last start and fence run will suit. Can go one better with gaps late
Wehavtime (13) Draw hurts but can not ignore the form. Top three chance with a cart into it

Race 10

Maui (10) Conditions suit and should give a good account again here. Top selection here
One Two Menny (9) Manners the key but he can fly early when he gets it right. Good chance
Dont Ask (3) Getting better with racing and if the pace is on is definitely a good place hope

Race 11

Chris Kyle (6) Track will suit as will the mobile start and he is tough. Chance at longer odds
Bobbies Rock (2) Good grass form and conditions suit. Will stick on from the good draw
Quaddie VC (1) Will get a soft run handy to the pace. Can run top three from a trailing position

Race 12

Magnetic Beckers (4) Has been unlucky and at his best would be a big chance here. Include
Falcons Watch (1) Likely leader from the ace draw. This is harder but has winning claims
Vinita Rose (6) Getting better with racing. Not the worst in this at longer odds. Will need luck
