Harness racing hits Gore again today with seven races on the card. The racing starts at 12:55pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Best Value:  R7   Step It Up A Notch

Race 1

Mode (1) Good finish at Oamaru and on the improve. Can go one better with the right trip
Superfast Ronnie (5) Logical favourite based on recent form. One of the better chances.
Top Of The Hill (3) Enough speed to be a win chance with luck in running. Could surprise

Race 2

Trendy Van Gogh (7) Weaker field here but tricky draw. Top driver booked and can win
Bubble Me (4) Better run last start and looks a good winning chance. Has to be included.
Okiwi Bay (6) Late run last start and on the improve. Should give a good account here.

Race 3

Cranachan (9) Drawn to get a cozy pegs run behind the possible leader. Winning claims
Vinchetto (3) In good recent trial form. Win chance with a soft run near the lead. Include
Cold Pursuit (1) Freshened and has gate speed. Will be in it for a long way here. Roughie

Race 4

Hidden Talent (8) Freshened and good trial. Big motor and should go close with manners
The River Boy (4) Worked hard last start and fought on. Manners needed but win chance.
Gift Card (5) Big drop in grade from Oamaru. In form and looks a good top three hope

Rise Up N Dance (1) Big on ability. Drawn well and has trialled ok recently Top selection
Bismarck Du Plessis (6) Freshened and top driver booked. Hard to beat in this line up.
Dreamalittledream (3) At her best would go close to placing. Draw helps and has claims

Race 6

Van Liberty (6) Might head forward early and track suits. Top three chance again
Magic Sign (2) Out of form but better than that. Can go close to placing with a good trip
Shezza Vinny (9) Will require luck from the draw but not the worst at odds. Include

Race 7

Step It Up A Notch (8) Disappointing last start. Might have the last say in this field. Needed
Robyns Playboy (6) Obvious threat in this after a good win last start. Go again in this field
Bobbies Rock (4) Quick beginner who is up in grade here. Can still run top three. Include
