Harness racing hits Gore again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 2:09pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Sucitra (1) Top driver booked and has the speed to be a major danger. Top selection in this
Rosie Richter (3) Better than the form suggests. Well placed in this and needed here Include
Captain Sarah (4) Trialing well enough to be a chance in this. One for longer odds here

Race 2

Torquay Street (2) Have to respect the stable and weak field to debut in. Chance from the draw
Bring On The Muscle (1) Best draw and lots of ability. Needs to step but has claims here
Hail Stone (7) Racing ok one of the few with any form. Could surprise fresh and top three hope

Race 3

Minos (3) Canterbury stables have a good record in the south. Looks one of the better chances
Thor (6) Trialed ok and top driver booked. Should give a good account even from the wide draw
Lou’s Boy (4) Another Canterbury raider down for the good stakes. Has winning claims here

Race 4

Major Art (2) Has a decent motor and much better draw for this. Might start at short odds here
The Wulver (1) Good gate speed and and likely improver. Place chance at longer odds
Mataura B B (5) No doubting ability and top driver booked. Top three chance with luck in running

Race 5

Netherton Franco (7) Racing well and will be fitter for this. Can go close to winning
Judaque (1) Getting better with racing and best draw. Can run a cheeky race in this field
Emma’s Delight (2) Disappointing last start but short distance will help. Winning claims

Race 6

I’m Watching You (2) Tidy finish last start and normally holds form. Well suited here. Needed
Fireforefiddle (4) Race form ok and top driver on board for this. One of the major players
Sherwood Maggie (5) Running ok  races but needs the right trip. Could get it here. Include

Race 7

Aveross Majesty (7) Ok in a tough field last start and better suited in this. Looks hard to beat
Our Pinocchio (4) Tidy draw and manners the only concern. One of the better place chances
Missile (3) Ok last start and will be improved. Good chance with a similar effort here

Race 8

Castelo De Vide (11) Freshened but has the ability to run a big race here. Chance at longer odds
Huki Fella (7) Tidy win last start and up in grade. Should go on with it and has winning claims
Verlander (8) Freshened and wide draw the only concern. One of the better chances

Race 9

Buffy Northstains (12) Tricky draw but has the speed to be a contender. Top selection in this
Dwindle Star (6) Not much luck last start and could get a good run from the draw. Needed
Sally Lindenny (10) Has come back looking stronger and short distance suits. Top three chance

Race 10

Willison (7) In good form and has won on the track. Draw hurts but can go close with luck
Brookies Player (8) Freshened but ran some big races last campaign. Winning claims
Arnies Army (6) Better for the last start run and big improver for this. Good chance here
