Harness racing hits Invercargill again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 2:28pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

What The Bell (6) This looks much weaker than what he has been racing. Has to step
Mode (2) Gets a head start on the favourite. Can win if the favourite makes a mistake
Ridge (3) Drops back from age group racing. Could surprise here with a safe getaway

Race 2

Mystery Beach (2) Had no chance in tough field last start. Hard to beat back in this grade
Drummershavtime (6) Well drawn and has the gate speed to be one of the better chances.
Ahthemightytrumpet (5) On debut with top driver booked. Trial form ok and could surprise

Race 3

Captains Mistress  (6) Easy win at Addington in a strong field. Should go close to winning
Flying Bird (5) Dropping back from strong Canterbury fields. Can give the favourite a fright
Dreamalittledream (1) Should get a soft run from the draw. Place chances look best in this

Race 4

Robyns Hustler (3) Goes well on the track and a winning chance with a good trip. Include
Sherwood Maggie (9) Will be driven with a sit from the draw. Will be running on with gaps
Shezza Vinny (2) Better draw and solid second last start. Has to rate highly in this field

Race 5

Delightful Peg (6) Running great races against better fields. Wide draw but can go close
Chicago Sky (1) Very well bred and drawn well on debut. Leave out at your peril. Needed
Showcase (2) Did ok in quick time last start. One of the better chances in this field

Race 6

Flying Without Wings (7) Better run last start when over the odds. Can go back to back
Samanthas Moon (4) Manners the key. Even field but winning claims with a good trip
Majestic Love (8) Will be better for the last start third. Has to rate on recent form. Include

Race 7

Sargent Best (4) Conditions suit and he can pop up at big odds when least expected. Upset
Jenny Gump (5) Has gate speed and could be the early leader here. Good place hope
Threebeersdeep (1) Good draw and better than the form suggests. Look for an improvement

Race 8

Empire City (7) Looks the best horse in this field. Should run top two at worst in this
Princess Sadie (5) Gate speed and might try for the front early. Can run top three here
Fear And Faith (1) In good form and should get a good run on the fence. Good chance

Race 9

Miraculous (8) Has a big motor and has been freshened. Top selection in this grade
Bowlem Over (5) Decent motor and a place chance after a slight break. Not the worst
Durrant (1) Ok run last start. Will continue to improve and place hope again from the ace

Race 10

Ted (3) Big run to win on debut. Freshened and race fitness query but good winning chance
Okiwi Bay (2) Better draw and looks a good place hope from the draw. One for longer odds.
Ten Da Touch (1) Good second last start and drawn to do no work. Rates highly in this field
