Harness racing hits Invercargill again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 12:00pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Lime In A Bottle (4) Disappointing run last start but better than that. Good chance in this
Spiritinthesky (3) Getting better with racing and can run top three again with a similar trip
Dancing Glenis (7) Change of trainer for this and will win a race at short notice. Keep backing

Race 2

Sally’s Pearl (4) Better for the last start run and hard to beat in this. Meets weaker field here
Enya Franco (9) Freshened and has the motor to threaten here. Could surprise with top driver
Lottie’s Luck (1) Racing ok and with the right trip is one for longer odds. Place chance in this

Race 3

Haley Robyn (2) Has gate speed and could race handy here. Can win with no attackers midrace
Arlo Maguire (4) Disappointing last start but could bounce back in this with driver change. 
Hit The Lights (8) Stable respect here and does have gate speed. One of the main players

Race 4

Top Pocket Chance (5) Converted trotter who has been disappointing. Chance at longer odds
Scott (1) Getting better with racing. Should go close to top three in this with top driver booked
Hogie (6) Weak field here and has shown ability at trials. Not the worst with the right trip

Sargent Best (3) Drawn well and in good form for this. Should give a good account here
Jenny Gump (4) Good beginner who will head forward early. Has the speed to run top three
Terra Sancta (7) Racing well but tricky draw for this. Top three chance again with a cart into it

Race 6

Del’s Creation (5) Nice win last start and a good chance to go back to back here. Top selection
Majesdix (3) Looks stronger this time in and should go close to placing again here. Needed
Jordan Anne (2) In good form and a good beginner. Even field but has winning claims. Include

Race 7

Cee Who’s Bettor (8) Running on well last start to win. Tricky draw but can improve further
Major Sweetart (1) Coming in fresh but has ability and trainer respect. Possible leader here
Durrant (11) Goes well on the course and has winning claims if he can work into the race. 

Race 8

Miles Away (2) Running on well last start to place. Can improve further and go close here
Gift Card (6) Better for the last start fourth and top driver booked. Will be running on here
Our Pinocchio (8) Goes well on the course and small field will help. One of the main chances

Race 9

Beach Day (10) Has been racing ok in strong fields and will be hard to beat in this. Needed
Brookies Player (6) Never runs a bad race. Will race handy and has winning claims in this
Southside Of Heaven (8) Big effort to win last start but harder here. Will need luck here
