Harness racing hits Invercargill again today with eight races on the card. The racing starts at 1:14pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Micaitlen Denario (2) Freshened and has speed. Good draw and top selection
Netherton Franco (5) Coming in fresh and conditions suit. At her best would go close
Jenny Gump (4) Has gate speed. Chance if she gets her own way in front. Include

Race 2

Major Art (8) Trial form looks good for this. Will start favourite and should go close
Ramblin Rover (1) Drawn to get a good run through early. Top three chance here
Judith Gwenda (5) Better run last start and should improve further. Include in exotic bets

Race 3

Miss Jessica (5) Ok last start. Sure to be improved and big hope if she can lead. Include
Steve (6) In good form and normally a quick beginner. Should race handy and has claims
Ruby Seddon (2) This looks a good race for her. Improver who is one of the main chances

Race 4

With A Bang (4) Has a decent motor and has trialled ok. Good winning chance in this
Mr Cash Man (6) Stand stats a worry but doing enough to keep the hook baited. Go again
Ron McKinley (1) Comes south with good Canterbury form. One of the major chances

Race 5

Kracka Looka  (4) Top win on debut and can go back to back with manners. Top selection
Black Pat (2) Good win last start. Harder here but can handle the rise in grade. Needed
Markthewarrior (7) Freshened for this and has speed. Needs to trot all the way but can win

Race 6

Miki Knows (6) Freshened for this and has a big motor. Good winning chance at nice odds
Street Art (5) Workout form excellent and stronger now. One of the major players in this
Snow Robyn (4) Big win last start and small field helps. Can run a cheeky race here. Include

Race 7

Tabasco (9) Getting better with racing and weaker field here. Looks hard to beat in this
Henry Maguire (4) Tidy draw and due to show some fresh up form. Good chance here
American Mac (6) Gate speed to lead here and chance if he gets his own way. Place chance

Race 8

Grinning Again (1) Has the speed and drawn to be a major player. Winning claims
Chezz Dale (10) Drawn to get a run through early. One of the better chances in this field
Northview Dance (3) Good last start and could sneak a placing from the draw. Include here
