Harness racing hits Invercargill again today with 9 races on the card. The racing starts at 3:27pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Race 1

Proposition Joe (2) Workouts have been impressive and should run top three with no mistakes
Franco Seb (7) Small field will help and last run was ok. Big improvement likely here. Needed
Rakaturbo (1) Getting better with racing and gets the best draw. Top three claims with a soft run

Race 2

Magic Sign (1) Draw will suit him here and he goes well the track. One of the better chances in this
Kensi (9) Follows the right horse and can finish well off cover. Will need gaps in the run home. Include
Shezza Vinny (5) Improver from her last start second and weaker field. Top three chance again here

Race 3

Hez Blessed (2) Has ability and coming off a good third last start. Another good run expected here
Lady Whistledown (7) Ok last start and a threat to these with no mistakes early. Winning claims
Majestic Challen (8) Good effort last start and normally a good beginner. Can sneak into the top three 

Race 4

Justaweesip (5) Solid second on debut and a winning chance again with natural improvement. Include
Rakaquattro (3) Has gate speed and goes well the track. Top driver booked and should give a good sight
Mind Philly (1) Out of form but improver with a place chance at longer odds from the inside draw

Race 5

Rock Or Bust (6) Beat a weaker field easily last start and rise in grade should not stop him. Top selection
Step It Up A Notch (5) Had excuses last start and well placed here. Good each way chance in this field
Brookies Player (3) Will be fitter after last starts disappointing run. Conditions suit and driver change

Race 6

Cody Banner (6) Good against a way tougher field two starts ago and galloped last start. Hard to beat
One Two Menny (11) Tricky handicap but has a lot of speed. Winning claims with a cart into it. Include
Bill Bootit (3) Up in grade but could be a place hope with a good run in transit. Top four watch here

Race 7

Rakavenom (7) Top driver booked and running on last start. Will need luck but could surprise here
Dragon Power (1) Best draw and should go close to placing in this. Top three with a nice trail here
Jenny Gump (9) Out of form but should get a good run on the pegs here. Top three chance at odds

Race 8

Walkinonsunshine (12) Quick beginner and top driver booked. Big winning chance if she goes forward
Princess Sadie (5) Decent motor and is drawn well here. One of the better chances off the front tapes
Mixed Faith (2) Disappointing last start. Will continue to improve and place hope again from the draw

Race 9

Rising Storm (3) Freshened and did well in good fields last campaign. Winning claims with the right trip
Durrant (2) Decent motor and is drawn well here. This looks easier and he can run a nice race again
Airwaves (7) Disappointing last start but had excuses. Will continue to improve and could be the leader
