Harness racing hits Invercargill again today with 9 races on the card. The racing starts at 3:38pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Race 1

Dame West (5) This looks a weaker field than what she has been racing. Should run top three
Mind Philly (2) Small field will help and should begin quickly. Stable respect and drawn well
Big Vinnie (6) Getting better with racing and wide draw the only concern. Place chance here

Race 2

Superfast Lady (3) Good form and normally steps well. Will land handy to the speed. Needed
Glendhu Mischief (4) Has early speed to be one of the leaders and just needs to keep trotting
Majestic Challen (8) Improver from her last start and favourite track. Top three chance in this

Race 3

Diva Bee (9) Stable respect and only needs manners to go close here. Better run expected
Tillaberi (1) Ok last start and a threat to the favourites with a good run in transit. Include
Racey Krusa (6) Change of stable and might be a cheeky hope in this. One for longer odds

Race 4

Always B Royal (5) Solid finnish last start and a winning chance if he goes forward. Include
Tilly Dunnage (3) Has gate speed and goes well the track. Should give a good account
Rock Fern (6) Out of form but improver with change of stable for this. Upset claims with luck

Race 5

Miki Skipper (3) Overdue a win and strikes a winnable race here. Top selection in this field
Byllee J (2) Drawn to be a threat and well placed here. Good each way chance in a weaker field
Mighty Miki (5) Will be fitter after last start third. Wider draw but not the worst. Include

Race 6

Keltic Tiger (10) Glimpse of form shown last start. Should get a run through at the start. Include
Mr President (2) Should get a soft run handy. Slight freshen for this and will be in the mix here
Jenny Gump (6) Due to show form and might head forward early. One for longer odds in this

Race 7

Mr Cash Man (5) Not much luck at Addington last start. Capable of winning this with the right trip
Threebeersdeep (3) New stable and should go close to placing in this if back to his best. Needed
By Chance (2) Not far away recently and should get a good run near the speed. Top three chance

Race 8

Majesdix (3) Good run on Cup day and should begin quickly. One fo the better chances in this
Xerion (4) Decent motor and is drawn well here. Hard to hold out with luck in running.
La Dama (1) Disappointing last start. Quick beginner who can dictate from the front. Include

Race 9

Durrant (4) Forgive the last run. Much better than that and can lift sharply. One for longer odds
Dragon Power (9) Decent motor but tricky draw. Has winning claims if he can find gaps. Include
Babe On The Beach (8) Had excuses last start. Will continue to improve and has clams with manners
