Harness racing hits Invercargill again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 11:50am and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Wy Fi (2) Decent draw and top driver booked. Has to rate highly with manners
Domination’s Call (5) Racing well in stronger field. Drop in class and needed here
Imperial Man (3) Needs to bring manners but has a sharp sprint. Chance if he trots

Race 2

Majesdix (8) Good run last start and well placed in this field. Hard to beat here
Styrax (7) Will be improved and can run top three in this with manners. Include
Swift Dream (9) Change of stable. Could surprise at longer odds if he steps away

Race 3

Outback Man (4) Looks to have stacks of ability and top driver booked. Hard to beat
Naledi (1) Raced well in a stronger field last start. Can go on with it here. Needed
Rotten Rodden (2) Has a nice draw and should be an improver. Can run top three with luck

Race 4

Flying Bird (10) Good when leading last start. One of the major chances with a cart into it
Tara Victory (11) Good run last start and should improve further. Big top three chance
Onwardsandupwards (8) Has a tricky draw but clearly has ability. Can add to the form here

Race 5

Ventura (7) Workouts have been good and likely to start favourite. Top selection in this field
The Conqueror (4) Quick stand start beginner who gets conditions to suit. Can run top three
Seabreeze Solitaire (8) Building a terrific formline. Has to rate highly if she can step cleanly

Race 6

See It Thru (9) Racing in good form and not a strong field. Good chance of placing in this
Galleons Future (2) Form has been building and good beginner. Can run top three again
Jordan Anne (6) Ok last start and weaker field here. Winning claims with luck in running

Race 7

Nyla (7) Drawn wide but might race close to the speed here. Winning claims at longer odds
Get Kraken (2) Hard to catch in the right mood but good enough to run top three with luck
Southern Starr (10) Out of form but has some speed. Place hope at odds with the right trip

Race 8

Jovial Jay (4) Looks a great chance of winning in a weaker field this week. Top selection
Step It Up A Notch (5) Racing well and conditions suit. Chance of beating the favourite
Insarchatwist (2) A bit unlucky last week but might get a soft run. Can run top three with luck

Race 9

Durrant (8) Drawn wide for this but can go on with it with the right trip in transit. Include
Superfast (4) Good draw and likely to go forward. Can go close in this and form is improving
Henry Maguire (9) Will get a soft fence run. Has ability and could surprise with gaps

Race 10

Glaucus (10) Looks the type to keep on improving. Can go back to back with any luck
McLean (6) Coming in off the back of a good finish for fourth last start. Win chance
Robyns Shadow (8) Disappointing last start but in a winnable race. Give another chance
