Harness racing hits Invercargill again today with eleven races on the card. The racing starts at 11:35am and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Julie Jaccka (6) Huge drop in grade for this and should run top two here. Top selection
Del’s Creation (5) Galloped last start and well placed in this. Hard to beat with manners
Gift Card (4) Freshened and drawn ok. Could get into the placing with her best effort

Race 2

Summit Ultra (7) Wide draw but getting better with racing. Weaker field here and can place
Scott (1) Drawn to be a major player in this. No star but one of the better chances in this
Dragon Power (6) Plenty of ability but not bringing trial form to race day. One day he will

Race 3

Haley Robyn (2) Drawn well and gear change will help here. Will head forward early and can win
Franco Huntington (1) Nice draw and due to strike form. Can run top three here with a trail
Joanie Magic (10) Better than the form suggests. Might sneak a place at longer odd with luck.

Race 4

Spiritinthesky (7) Freshened and showed ability in Canterbury. Might surprise with manners
Lime In A Bottle (9) In form and will head forward early. Improver with winning claims here
Stella Bay (10) Better run last start and top driver down to drive. Good top three chance here

Race 5

She’s A Jewel (3) Building fitness and good draw to use here. Should go close to placing here
Gems Delight (10) Great form and one of the main chances here. Can win with luck in running
Meandmyshadow (1) Has the motor to compete with these and good fence draw. Needed here

Race 6

Jazzy Styx (8) Running on well last start at Addington. Well placed here and topselection
Lorton Vale (1) Draw suits in this and should get an ideal run. Will be finishing on in this
Hit The Lights (7)Hasn’t had all the luck and with the right trip is one for longer odds here

Race 7

South Seas Rock (5) Has been beating similar fields. Standing start the only concern here.
Deny Everything (3) Getting better with racing. Good from stand and possible leader here
Warloch (1) No form but should get a soft trip on the pegs. Can finish well if the pace is on

Race 8

Terra Sancta (8) Freshened and has come back stronger this campaign. Wide draw but needed
Ultimate Cullect (9) Getting better with racing. Good pegs draw and mobile suits. Include here
Dean James (2) Winning form but up in grade. Can improve and might be hard to beat again

Race 9

Franco Hoffman (3) Not far away in a strong field last start. Suited here and will go ok in this
Brookies Player (9) Should get a run through at the start. Chance with any gaps in the straight
Magnetic Beckers (5) Wider draw but can finish well if the pace is on. No star but place chance

Race 10

Jenny Gump (2) Course suits and has won on the track before. Gate speed to lead and go close
Durrant (3) Good recent form and drawn for a run close to the leaders. Can run top three again
The Other Brother (1) Likely to get a soft run close to the speed here. Place chance at odds
