Harness racing hits Manawatu again today with seven races on the card . The racing starts at 5:04pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Race 1

Mr Monty (5) Ok on the first day after a good beginning. Should run top three with manners
All Muscled Up (6) Small field will help and only needs a better start to go close in this. Include
Chemical Dreams (1) Getting better with racing and gets a head start on favourites. Win chance

Race 2

Manchester In Time (7) Did a lot of work last start and was too strong. Looks hard to beat again
Run Forest Run (4) Better than the form suggests. At his best would go close in this. Needed here
Cosmic Angel (1) Improver from her last start and off the front row helps. Top three chance here

Race 3

Million Dollar Chic (1) Just beaten last start and drawn the ace. Can go one better with luck here
Tres Bonne Fille (5) Ok last start and a threat to the favourite with a good run in transit. Likely leader
Gifted Brigade (6) Form is ok in stronger fields. Can sneak into the top three with a good trip

Race 4

Rough And Ready (6) Solid win last start and a winning chance again in this. Will be improved
Bad Medicine (4) Has gate speed and goes well the track. Should give a sight with driver change
Gotta Elect Bill (7) Running on well last start and an improver with winning claims. Needed

Race 5

Uncle Drew (1) Fought on last start in a similar field. Top selection in this from a better draw
Narobi (2) Good win last start but up in grade. Should handle the rise in class ok. Include
Ha’penny (7) Will be fitter after last start. Better than the recent form and is a chance at odds

Race 6

Oceanic Art (2) Good tough win last start. Hard to beat against with a better run in transit
Fredastaire (8) Should get a soft run on the pegs. Winning claims with any gaps. Include
Blue Chip Lou (3) Drops back from tougher fields and suited here. One of the better chances

Race 7

Stealers Wheel (3) Draw helps and was unlucky day one. Can go close to winning this. Needed
Fabricate (2) Should get a run through early. Might need luck but was tough the first night
The Elite Athlete (1) Should get the trail all the way here. Good winning chance from the draw
