Harness racing hits Manawatu again today with eight races on the card. The racing starts at 5:29pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Mr Monty (3) Racing well and drawn to be competitive again. Can run top three. Needed
Lightning McQueen (2) Getting better with racing and same field here. Should be thereabouts
Kiss My Pixel (6) Manners the only concern here. Has the ability to go close with no mistakes

Race 2

Boyz Invasion (10) Going for six in a row and good chance of winning again. Top selection
Highview Rockn Roll (9) Best of the rest the first night and can run top two again here
Manchester In Time (8) Made ground after a mistake on night one. Can improve quickly

Race 3

Conor McGregor (2) Mobile and track suit. Needs a bit of luck but can win from the draw
Sharkntatties (4) Could be improved from the first night. Goes better when in front
Fredastaire (10) Good third last start and getting better with racing. Tricky draw but include

Race 4

Million Dollar Chic (1) Big draw upgrade and in form driver hops on. Could surprise here
Maleficence (5) Not much luck day one but drawn well and can run top three in this.
Cote D’Azur (2) Ok finish on the first night and looks well placed from the draw. Needed

Race 5

Santanna Mach (7) Strikes a wide draw but extra distance suits. Look for an improved effort
Ann Ofathousand Bays (2) Up in grade but impressive win night one. Include again here
Letsgodancing (1) Has been disappointing but better than that. Due to show some better form

Race 6

Beaudiene Quick Step (4) Drawn to head forward early. Looks one of the better chances in this
Baileys Pitch (2) Running on first night and better draw. Can improve and is a big threat here
Eddie Osei (8) Could get a soft run from the draw. Not the worst at longer odds in an even field

Race 7

Superstar Legend (6) Looks likely to go forward again here. Big winning chance if she leads
Rockafilly (5) Good finish last start and should improve. Will be running on again here
Oceanic Art (4) Ran home ok from the back on night one. Better draw so go again here

Race 8

Bad Medicine (6) Racing well in strong fields. Wide draw but should run top two here
Johnny Mac (5) Easy win on night one and similar field. Winning claims again here
Artful Living (1) Good form and likes to race handy. Draw helps and he can place again
