Harness racing hits Manawatu again today with seven races on the card. The racing starts at 3:13pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Race 1

Love Is Everywhere (2) Raced well on the track when last here. Has to rate highly in this
Petronelli Gee (3) Last few runs have been better than they look on paper. Include
Highview Rockn Roll  (8) Has been racing well here in similar fields. Winning claims

Race 2

The Big Dance (2) Racing better fields and likely to head forward. Hard to beat here
Jazzy Styx (3) First starter but ok at trials and top driver booked. Can run top three
The Maestro (9) On debut but stable hard to beat on the track so can win. Needed

Race 3

Beach Party (5) Out of form but no biggie for House runners at Manawatu. Needed
Manny (4) Has been a bit wayward lately but better than that. Decent place hopes here
Valynda (8) Drawn to get a run through early. Out of form but worth throwing in here

Race 4

Bettor Grunter (2) Going better than the form suggests and suited by the small field. Include
Smokinhotcheddar (3) Sprint trip will help and can go close with a safe beginning.
Doctor Tim (1) Has drawn to be a major threat. Good chance if he can lead early

Race 5

Proviseur (2) Going better than the form suggests and top driver booked. Hard to beat
Superstar Legend (4) Quick beginner who might try to lead in this. Winning claims
Daisy Duke (1) Has a nice draw and racing well. Should get a good run on the pegs.

Race 6

Rollwithit (4) Better run last start and capable of winning again with top driver booked.
Grinning Again (11) Will be better for the last start run and races well on the track.
Call Security (1) Good draw and should get a cosy run in transit. Not the worst

Race 7

Full Of Desire (4) Had excuses the last couple and better suited in this field.. Good chance
The Cobbler (6) Has been freshened and when right is very speedy. Can run top three
Ticking Over (3) Ok last start and has gate speed. Place chances here with a cosy pegs run
