Harness racing hits Manawatu again today with eight races on the card. The racing starts at 5:29pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Joca’s Hill (8) Beat a strong field at Cambridge last start and easier here. Hard to beat here
Manchester In Time (5) Good win day one and can run top three again with manners
Slainte (7) Will be fitter for last start second. Good track stats and top three claims here
Race 2
Fernleigh Cash (6) Big drop back in class for this. Tricky handicap but small field will help.
New York Minute (5) Has been racing better fields. Need to step but well placed in this
Warloch (1) Quick improver for this after looking a run short 1st night. Should go well
Race 3
Love Is Everywhere (5) Goes well here and only needs manners to go close to winning this.
Mr Monty (6) Early break last start. Can run top three here with a good run in transit. Needed
Storms Acoming (4) Reliable at the start and should be thereabouts at the finish. Include
Race 4
Narobi (1) Getting fitter with racing and steadily improving. Hard to hold out in this field
Carolina Moon (5) Battled on well here on day one for third. Will be finishing on again
Magie Do (2) Disappointing last start but better than that. Top three chance at longer odds

Onetangi Girl (1) Drawn well and might be the leader here. One for longer odds in this
Doctor Tim (4) Looked a run short last start. Win chance here with natural improvement
Quicksmart (8) Worked hard and fought on last start. Good chance with gaps in the straight.
Race 6
Dom Toretto (3) Winning form but up in grade. Can go on with it with the right trip. Include
Molly Belwin (5) Running into it too late last start. Might go forward and has winning claims
Baileys Pitch (2) Goes well on the track and will race handy to the speed. Top three claims
Race 7
Semba (6) Good enough to win this with the right trip. Tough effort first day and needed here
Clear Left (1) Drops in class for this and drawn to suit. Speedy pacer who has winning claims
Lord Delmar (9) Stable normally does well on the track. Freshened and has to be respected
Race 8
Mapua Missie (5) Speedy beginner who might be the race leader. Can go one better here
Cracker Rock (7) Ran home well last start. Could go close with a good run in transit.
Shirley Bassey (1) At her best would go close to placing. Better draw and can run top three
