Harness racing hits Manawatu again today with six races on the card. The racing starts at 1:03pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Our Pegasus Pearl (10) Ran home well last start. Good winning claims with early manners
Full Of Hope (8) Stand suits and battled on ok last start. Major player in this
Denver (9) Up in grade but has speed. Stable always race well at Manawatu

Race 2

Dream Prospect (3) Raced well against strong opposition last start. Hard to beat here
Wriggles Rufus (4) Should be very competitive here. Can run top three
Addo Carr (1) Drawn to lead or trail and will be ready here. Include

Race 3

Red Letter Day (4) Placed in qualifying trial and stable gets them ready. Needed
American Maid (7) Tricky draw but raced well last campaign. Winning claims in this field
Kiwi Arden (3) Will need to bring better manners but not the worst. Can surprise at odds

Race 4

Superstar Legend (4) Has showed speed on the track previously. Winning claims
Benjamin Button (2) Racing well and best draw for some time. Include here
Franco Hoffman (7) Tricky draw but racing well. Can give some cheek in this

Race 5

Tasman Tempest (9) One of the better chances in this field. Top selection
Clymenus (1) Disappointed late last campaign but has speed. Could surprise at odds
Ideal Zen (4) Good here previously and drawn ok. Good chance from the draw

Race 6

Piiki Whara (3) Disappointed last start but got back early. Will go forward here. Needed
Letsgodancing (10) Should get a run through early from the draw. One of the main chances
Peter Forsberg (2) Has gate speed and might trail early. One for longer odds in this
