Harness racing hits Manawatu again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 4:52pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Love Is Everywhere (4) Nice win when last on the track. Good chance here with manners
President Flynntin (10) Running on ok on day one. Can run top three with a similar effort
Trifolium (5) In good form and looks hard to beat if he can get a good run in transit

Race 2

Exhilarate (1) Up in grade but a tidy win last start and better draw. Winning claims
Sweet Spirit (6) Running on well day one. One of the better chances with the right trip
Call Security (8) Should get a soft pegs run. Top three chance with gaps in the straight

Race 3

Narobi (6) Good second last start and a win looks close at hand. Top selection in this field
Under The Boardwalk (2) Racing well in better fields. Can run top three with manners
Fredastaire (4) Could go forward early here. Has to be respected from a lead or trail

Race 4

Our Pegasus Pearl (4) Up in grade but the way she won day one suggests another good run
Del Shannon (12) Too tough on night one.. Hard to beat if they go hard during the race
Johnny Who (8) Getting fitter with racing. Top run on day one and has to be included here

Race 5

Franco Hoffman (5) 50% place record on the track. Drawn well and should be in the mix
Invisible (2) Ran home ok last start. Better draw and a good chance with a good trip
Dom Toretto (8) Up in grade but should get a cosy run. Could surprise at longer odds

Race 6

Santanna Mach (8) Has beaten better fields and back in form. Good track stats here
Bettor Grunter (9) Small field will help here. Can run top three over the sprint trip
Cote D’Azur (2) Ran home well on night one. One of the better chances in this field

Race 7

Superstar Legend (7) Likely early leader and distance suits. Top selection in this
Mahia Dreamin (6) Nice win the first day and will be running on late here. Could surprise
Diamonds Are Forever (5) Disappointing last start. Solid top three chance with a soft run

Race 8

Village Rebel (8) Has been running good races just in behind. Extra distance will suit
Bad Medicine (4) Reliable early and a good chance in this field. Should run top three
Hesashorething (3) Manners the key. Has the toughness to place with no mistakes early

Race 9

Bev The Goat (4) Has gate speed and hard to hold out here if she gets a soft run in front
Sheza Mermaid (5) Good last start and can go close with luck in running. Needed
Million Dollar Chic (1) Better draw and getting fitter Top three chance with a trail
