Harness racing hits Manawatu again today with eight races on the card. The racing starts at 5:36pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Race 1

Kingswood (5) Raced well on day one and decent draw. Has to rate highly again
Ramtastic (2) Well bred and drawn to be a threat early. Follow
Zlato (11) Has been racing well in similar fields. One for longer odds

Race 2

Highview Rockn Roll (6) Nice win on day one in same field. Hard to beat again
Love Is Everywhere (3) Up in grade but tidy on the first day.. Can run top three
Mocca Francy (2) Drawn well and got closest to Highview Rockn Roll 1^st day. Needed

Race 3

Petronelli Gee (4) In form and should run top three in this field. Include
Littlebitoflove (6) Has been a bit average but nice second on day one. Win chance
Summer Lovin (5) Big motor but no manners. Could beat this field if he trots all the way

Race 4

Hey Miki Denario (3) Big upgrade in draws for day two. Can go on with it here. Needed
Jono B (1) Quick beginner who might try to lead in this. Winning claims from the front
Wriggles Rufus (2) Has a nice draw and racing well. Can run top three with luck

Race 5

Brookies Jaffa (2) Has placed here in the past and has a chance from the front row.
New York Minute (10) Big finish last start and extra distance helps. Include
Hesashorething (9) Running on late on day one. Normally a good beginner. Needed

Race 6

Rory McIlroy (1) Racing ok and big upgrade in draws. Good chance from the ace
Pacing Hope (8) Cosy inside draw and when right is very speedy. Can run top three
Ticking Over (2) Ok last start and has gate speed. Place chance best over extra distance

Race 7

Luminite (3) Drawn well and and might race close to the speed here. Can win
Voodoo Prince (5) Coming in off the back of a good win. Win chance again
Grinning Again (4) Has raced well on course but better on speed. Could surprise.

Race 8

Smokin Annie (5) Big finish here last start and small field helps. Good winning chance
Superstar Legend (7) Tricky draw but can loop them and run top three. Include
Smokinhotcheddar (6) Raced well on the track in the past. Should compete with these
