Harness racing hits Manawatu again today with seven races on the card. The racing starts at 2:49pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Petronelli Gee (6) Fitter for recent racing and due to fire. Top selection in this
Our Pegasus Pearl (7) Making mistakes early but good enough with manners. Include
Break Free (8) Has been beating similar fields the last couple. Needed again here

Race 2

Art On Fire (7) Raced well against similar opposition last start. Hard to beat here
Rollwithit (2) Racing ok and will be fitter for this. Can run top three with luck
Wriggles Rufus (6) Course suits and always a place chance on the track

Race 3

Hail Lucius (1) Has been unlucky in recent starts and draw suits. Hard to beat
Smokin Annie (4) Tidy winner last start and hard to beat again in this. Include
Santanna Mach (7) Slight drop in class for him here. Could surprise with the right run

Race 4

Grinning Again (6) Disappointing last start but easy wins prior. Top selection
Manhattan Sunshine (4) Gate speed to lead here and short distance suits. Needed
Ideal Zen (1) Ideal draw to get a cosy run. Can run top three with gaps in the straight

Race 5

Vita Veloce (7) Tricky draw but top driver booked. Field not strong and has winning claims
Mop (5) Racing well and getting fitter. Should go close to top three in this.
Somedreamsomewhere (6) Comes here from racing at Cambridge. Can step up in this

Race 6

Raging On (8) Form has tapered off but the track might suit. Will be finishing on
Whitebait Marg (3) Drops in class and drawn ok. One of the better chances in this
Addo Carr (1) Getting better with racing and cosy run awaits. Can run top three

Race 7

Franco Hoffman (6) Racing well and will go close in this. One of the major players
Arabian Blue (5) Has run some good races in Canterbury. Fast beginner who can win
Superstar Legend (1) Quick beginner who is always a place chance on the track. Include
