Harness racing hits Marlborough again today with 12 races on the card . The racing starts at 11:50am and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Best Bet:  R1 Go Home Denise

Best Value:  R11  Misty Blue

Race 1

Go Home Denise (1) Good recovery on the first day after breaking. Can run top three
Bonjour Paris (6) Notable driver change and only needs manners to be a chance. Roughy
Billy Kimber (11) No room late on day one. Place chance with a quick start and gaps

Race 2

Miki Skipper (1) Did too much work last start and easier here. Has to be included
Interrorgator (9) Improved late on day one and draw suits. Expect a better run in this
Dixieland Delight (6) Tried to lead all the way last start but tricky draw. Top three chance

Race 3

Shannon B (1) Just pipped last start and better draw for this. Top selection and good chance
Mariana Trench (9) Ok last start and a threat to the favourite with a good run in transit
Nila Maree (11) Good effort last start but worse draw. Can sneak into the top three with luck

Race 4

Razors Edge (3) Solid fourth last start and a winning chance from the draw. Include
Apatchofgold (5) Has gate speed and getting fitter. Good top three chance if put in the race
Ha’penny (1) Out of form but improver with a place chance at longer odds from the draw

Race 5

Zsazsa Binx (11) Uncharacteristic mistake on day one. Should go a better race with manners
Call Dudley (4) Best form in the race and  well placed here. Good each way chance again
Solemn Son (7) Galloped last start. Previous form great and one of the better chances here

Race 6

Ivona Dadic (5) Good second after working hard last start. Hard to beat with a soft trip
Lord Mudrick (4) Should get a soft run handy. Winning claims at longer from the draw.
Melton Magnate (9) Running on last start and trailing draw. Needs gaps but good chance

Race 7

Ebury Street (9) Draw hurts but in a rich vein of form. Can run a tidy race again here
Boudica (10) Should get a run through early. Might need luck but good placing last start
Style Council (5) Never far away and a threat if he got ahead of the favourites early. Needed

Race 8

Regal Sierra (7) Beat these last time out and should give a good account again here.
MM Sunshine (4) Easy winner last start but up in grade. Threat if he got to the front again
Tu Tangata (6) Likely to be driven for one run at them again. Win chance if put in the race

Race 9

Radha  (8) Not a great draw but obvious ability and top driver sticks with. Winning claims
Destiny Dance (11) Decent motor and ran on ok on day ine. One for longer odds in this
Miki’s Courage (7) Improved run last start. Will continue to improve and place hope again

Race 10

Piccadilly Pete (9) Extra distance suits. In form and could keep winning them. Needed
Who’s Delight (14) Tricky handicap but better than most in this field. Has to be respected
Wild Willow (11) Good finish last start after working work mid race. Good chance

Race 11

Misty Blue (1) Grass suits nice win day one. Can go close here with natural improvement
Light Me Up (8) Good form but wide draw. Big chance if he can find the front. Needed
Destiny’s Dream (10) Running on late on day one. Drawn for a run through and has claims

Race 12

What The Bell (1) Good finish last start and only needs manners to be a threat. Needed
Bullit Train (2) Consistent and well drawn. Has to be respected after good third on day one
Ginas Majesty (5) Getting fitter and grass suits. Not the worst at longer odds with luck
