Harness racing hits Nelson again today with eleven races on the card. The racing starts at 12:08pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Race 1

Queen Of Swords (4) Has looked good at trials and looks hardest to beat in this. Top selection
Chica Bella (1) Good run first day and can lead early. Nice chance with no early pressure
Scarlett’s Legacy (7) Drawn wide but does have speed. Chance with a soft trip in this

Race 2

Harmonia (8) Checked on day one but ran home well after. Good chance with luck
Top Of The Hill (11) Tidy second on day one and can go one better with a similar trip.
Orlando Express (6) Battled well here first day. Chance if handy enough on the turn

Race 3

Lamarli (6) Conditions suit here and only needs a better beginning to go close in this.
Kaysans Rock (8) Came to the end of it on day one but will be improved. Can win
Rockcent (2) Draw and distance suit. Could surprise here with a good trip in transit

Race 4

Major Happy (4) Wouldn’t even score up on day one. Needs manners but is s a chance
Fergalicious (2) Good draw for this. Good winning chance here with a quick beginning
Refine (5) Gate speed and racing well. Likely early leader who could stick on for place

Race 5

Twista (8) Tough run but nearly got there the first day. One of the better chances
Misty Blue (3) Drawn well and should be running on again in this field. Needed
Gatecrasher (2) Tidy draw but has finishing speed. Should be thereabouts in this 

Race 6

Our Pegasus Pearl (3) Ran home ok the first day and a good chance with manners.
Bella Lindenny (1) Battled well the first day and likely to get a soft trip. Has to be included
Grand Eagle (9) Getting fitter and easily the best of this field on day one. Will not be far away

Race 7

Tide And Time (2) Likely early leader who can win if he goes hard all the way. Include
Jack Tar (3) Disappointing on the first day but a fast mile should suit. One for odds
Watermelon Sugar (9) Tidy second in a similar field last start. Can go one better here

Race 8

Sunnys Sister (9) Racing well and can make it four in a row after her easy first day win
Almighty Fear (8) Galloped last start. Can go close with no mistakes during the running
Zsa Zoe (7) Course stats ok and strong third day one. Likely to be near the placings again

Race 9

Alta Meteor (9) Racing well and has a big reputation. Should go close to making it three straight
Mighty Looee (8) Going better than the form suggests. Can run a fast mile. One for odds
Dalton Shard (1) Drawn to get a good run close to the speed. Strong field but can place

Race 10

Bondi Lustre (1) Good beginner with conditions to suit. Will race handy here from the draw
Fourth Amendment (8) Good beginner and fought well day one. One of the better chances
Country Gold (7) Wide draw but a good chance if he gets handy to the leaders. Needed

Race 11

Woodlea Jewel (4) Easy win on day one and looks a major player in this. Good chance
Absolute Dynamite (6) Nice placing first day and good enough to get into the finish again
What A Minx (2) Tidy draw and looks well placed here. Can run top three with luck
