Harness racing hits Invercargill again today with eleven races on the card. The racing starts at 11:55am and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Best Bet:  R8  Flying Ellie

Best Value:  R11  Magic Sign

Race 1

Bill Bootit (2) Ok at trials and Nathan chooses this one. Looks a top chance
Kyle Loch (9) Should be stronger after a freshen up. Can run top three at longer odds
Del’s Creation (5) Tidy run for second last start and fitter now. Good chance with manners

Race 2

Northview Dance (3) Good run for second in arguably a better field. Go again here
Major Thomas (10) Change of trainer and ok at workouts. Could surprise with luck
Call Me Sir (5) Form is very good and weaker field here. Looks a major player in this

Race 3

Dwindle Star (4) Has been racing well and good from a stand. Hard to beat
Ruby Seddon (8) Racing much better now and small field helps. Winning claims
Johns Boy (2) Can not ignore the form line and he looks a great place chance again

Race 4

Emerald Abbey (10) Better run last start and should improve further. One for longer odds
Atarah (4) Will get the run to suit from the draw. Good winning claims in this
Jabali (2) Best draw and top driver booked. Should race accordingly. Include in this field

Race 5

Flying Bird (2) Well bred filly who has run time at the workouts. Winning claims with luck
Onwardsandupwards (6) Has run some good races recently and has form. Needed again
Seabreeze Solitaire (8) Tricky draw but one of the better chances. Top three player

Race 6

Peregrine (5) Looks up to winning this and small field will help. Has to be respected
Imperial Man (3) Good win last start. Can surprise again here if he steps cleanly
The Bloss (4) Has been racing strong fields in Canterbury. Can run a cheeky race

Race 7

Wag Star (7) Racing well at trials and looks quick enough to be a threat in this. Needed
Repetitive (8) Trial form good and top driver booked. Tricky draw but include in this
Whatablaze (4) Canterbury horses do well here and tidy run for second on debut. Can win

Race 8

Flying Ellie (4) Beat most of this field last start and should do so again. Top selection
Always Ticking (5) Got closest to the favourite last start but worse off in the draw. Include
Major Envy (6) Running on last start and can go close to top three again in this.

Race 9

Miki Knows (8) Tricky draw but huge at Addington last start. One of the better chances
Magnetic Beckers (5) Better draw here and could surprise with the right run in transit
Sophie (1) Comes up with the ace draw and should get a cosy run. Possible place chance

Race 10

Wheels Of Fortune (4) Good run in strong company last start. Can go close here with luck
Joes Rock (3) Hardly ever out of the money. Can give a good sight here if she steps cleanly
Robyns Playboy (5) Ok last start but better suited here. Quick beginner with winning claims

Race 11

Magic Sign (1) Races well here and top driver booked. Can go close here from the draw
Rightazz (12) Getting better with racing and a major player despite the tricky draw.
Wattlebank Arnie (11) Freshened and good enough to be a threat with luck in running
