Harness racing hits Oamaru again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 12:24pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Our Evie Rae (2) Has improved with every start. Goes close with manners. Top selection
Brother Johnson (3) Stable respect here and ok at trials. Would pay to include here
Massive Merc (4) Battling away in age group racing. Could surprise with a safe getaway

Race 2

Rock N Roll Don (6) Good win at recent trials. Quite a weak field and looks a good bet
Swiftnsweet (3) Well drawn and has the speed to be one of the better chances. Include
Hi Life (2) Improver from her last start and drawn to play a part. Top three chance here

Race 3

Art Jordan (5) Stable in good form and has been racing stronger fields. Should place
Itz Flash Harry (2) Has been disappointing but conditions suit. One for longer odds.
Ohoka Nico (1) Drop in class for this and should get a soft run. Major player here

Race 4

Wavewatcher (5) Goes well on the track and a winning chance with a good trip. Include
Ford Rule (3) Has gate speed and likely leader early. Could surprise with a trailing spot
Keltic Tiger (14) Tricky draw but has a big finish. Will need a cart into the race. Can win

Race 5

Rubira (8) Stable does well on the track and the the motor is there. Wide draw but needed
Demon Blue (7) Has raced well against better fields. Tricky draw but looks over the odds
Five Crowns (6) Stable respect and a slight freshen up. Look for a good run in this field

Race 6

Eurostyle (12) Last start was very unlucky and only needs manners here. Top selection
Galleons Ambassador (9) Track stats good. Even field and winning claims with a good trip
Aroha Kenny (10) Will be better for the last start fourth. Trained locally and nice chance

Race 7

Mighty Looee (3) Conditions suit and a good chance if he gets his own way in front. Upset
Pinseeker (1) Freshened but has a big motor. Can win but will need a good run in transit
Macandrew Aviator (4) Good beginner who might head forward early. Will stick on here

Race 8

Ruby Roe  (1) Can run time and could be the leader from the draw. Unbeaten on the track
Louies Girl (4) Goes well fresh and stable can get them running. Can run top three here
Rakero Ice (9) In good form and should get a good run on the fence. Upset claims in this

Race 9

Bring On The Muscle (13) Looks the most progressive horse in the field. Top selection here
Cormoran Strike (10) Decent motor and a chance from the 30m handicap. Needs manners
Jasprit Trouble (6) Ok run last start. Will continue to improve and place hope again here

Race 10

Brando (1) Very quick and drawn to be handy all the way. Good winning chance in this
Katherine (8) Wide draw but better than most in this field. One for longer odds. Needed
Miki Bennett (5) Good win last start and can do some work mid race. Could surprise here
