Harness racing hits Oamaru again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 12:10pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Dean James (3) Good finish at Ashburton and will be improved. Top selection in this
Whosdreamingnow (2) Good third fresh and weaker field here. At his best would go close
Rushkinoff (5) Has a bit of speed. Chance with a quick beginning. Include in this field

Race 2

George Eliot (4) Getting better with racing and should go close to winning this.Needed
Luvavici (11) Big finish late at Addington on debut. Looks one of the better chances
Moses (2) Has been trialling ok and respect the stable. Manners the key but can win

Race 3

Boarding Call (3) Disappointing the last couple but big hope if she can lead. Include
Ava Adore (4) Better draw for this and likely to head forward. Has winning claims
Shards Fury (5) This looks a good race for him and trainer change. One paced but due

Race 4

Missile (5) Has a decent motor and has trialled ok. Good winning chance in this
Greenbank Don (4) Driver change for this and does have a motor. Go again here
Our Pinocchio (6) Freshened and will need manners but has ability. Top three chance

Race 5

Double Jeopardy (4) Top win last start and can go back to back in this. Top selection
Chase A Dream (2) Has a bit of a reputation. Hard field on debut but capable. Needed
Major Hot (1) Drawn to get a good run on the pegs. Should be close up at the finish

Race 6

Aardiebytheseaside (6) Went close in a strong field last start. Good winning here
Forever Me (7) Race form excellent and stronger now. One of the major players in this
Treacherous Gall (4) Building a solid formline and fresh for this. Can run a cheeky race

Race 7

Pembrook Playboy (3) Freshened but reportedly working well. Looks hard to beat in this
Republican Party (1) Tidy draw and due to show form. Good chance here with manners
Anything Goes (4) Better last start but will need to step quickly. Chance in an even field

Race 8

Darby (4) Has shown speed at trials and drawn to be a major player. Winning claims
Gatecrasher (8) Much better run last start. Wide draw but one of the better chances in this
Mystar Blue Jean (7) Good last start and could sneak a placing from the wide draw. Include

Race 9

Hidden Talent (10) Has stacks of speed and looks a good bet in this field. Top selection
Galleons Ambassador (8) Upset win on the track previously. Similar effort takes her close
Resolve (12) Has come back looking stronger but tough handicap. Top three chance

Race 10

With Style (6) Racing well in stronger fields than this. Can go close to a win here
Rise Up N Dance (2) Improver from last start. Should give a good account in this. Include
Mightyflyin Supastar (3) Getting better with racing. Can take another step up here.
