Best Bet: R1 Richmond Tiger

Best Value: R6 Ace Strike

Race 1

Midnight In Memphis out of form but now trained by the Manawatu specialist Michael House and top driver booked. One of the leading chances in this field.…… Richmond Tiger good third last start and has raced far better fields. Good winning chance and should run top three..… Crimson Rain last couple have been fair and likely to head forward early. Change of trainer and winnning chance at nice odds…… Betancourt from a strike rate stable and form has been ok. Tricky draw but will be finishing on. Needed

Race 2

Get On The Sauce nice draw here and looks a good chance in the race. Hard to beat with a safe getaway.……. Haka Pride plenty of ability but needs to trot all the way. Can place at big odds with no mistakes…… Caitlin's Surprise has run some good races previously and gets a head start on the favoured runners. One for longer odds…… Leesa Castleton in good form but tricky handicap. Can be in the top three with luck

Race 3

Sir Brigadoon has been racing better fields. Trainer/driver combo deadly around Manawatu Raceway and has to be respected. Top selection….. Hands On good draw and probably the first out in front in the race. Can run top three here….. Hes A Facta has the game to beat a field like this based on trials. Can provide an upset with a run close to the front….. Lena Rivers has trialled ok and change of trainer. One for longer odds

Race 4

She's A Dagg ok last start and drawn well. Top driver booked and has to be hard to beat. ….. Jimmy Richter tricky draw but in good form and trainer driver combo goes well on the track. Good winning chance….. Scelta Uno wide draw but she races well on the track. Placed chances look best….. Emmi Rose running on last start and getting fitter with racing. Should be there abouts at the finish

Race 5

Eagle Watch tricky draw but in great form. Good chance in this field and will be hard to beat….. Cruzee Mach racing into form and last start was too good for them. Decent chance with a cart into the race….. Dance Time terrible draw but big drop in grade. Looks the winner if he can get around to the front early….. Mogul wide draw not great but has been running on in his races. Can upset and loves the track

Race 6

Ace Strike conditions suit and he has the right draw to be a major threat here. Paying over the odds and is a good winning chance.…. Peter Forsberg getting better with racing and course and distance suit. Can run top three…… Greatest Showman tricky draw but has been racing ok. His best form would see him go close here..… Benjamin Button a bit in or out with form but has the ability and could be the boilover chance. Big odds available

Race 7

Franco Nandor disappointing last start but give another chance and this race suits. Winning claims at good odds…. Boilover looks the early leader and a good third last start. Can run top three with a trail in the race ….. Spirit Of Anzac out of form but has a big finish. Good winning chance if they go hard up front…. Lavazza has been thereabouts in similar fields and conditions suit here. One for longer odds….

Race 8

Nerano likely to trail here and has winning claims with a solid pace in the race….. Smoke N Heaven first starter from the house stable with a tricky draw. Tote the guide but has to be respected ….. Harley Hell  good staying type who gets in well here. He will be finishing on if the pace is on all the way. Include…. Brian Christopher workouts ok and trailing draw. Place claims here…..
