Harness racing hits Rangiora again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 12:00pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Olive Cook (9) Nice win last start and this field similar. Can win again with strike rate driver on
Arizonawildcat (8) Racing in good form and grass suits. Can run top three here
Ruby’s A Delight (7) Has been unlucky but better suited in this race. Winning claims. Needed

Race 2

Holly Highlander (9) Impressive run for second last start and weaker field. Hard to beat
Mighty Logan (6) Getting better with racing and has to rate highly on previous form here.
Bevron (8) Winning claims in this field but needs luck. Can surprise with the right trip

Race 3

Tanganyika (3) Has been thereabouts in his last couple and drawn handy. Good winning chance
Old Time Rock N Roll (6) Went well on debut here and better draw. One of the major players
Justin Fun (1) Never far away from the placings and should get a soft run on the fence. Needed

Race 4

Beaudiene Quick Step (5) Grass suits and good beginner from a stand. Has to rate highly
Justa Terra (9) Trainer does well with first starters. Big field here but has winning claims
Ambleside Drive (12) Has been unlucky in previous runs. Top three chance with a cozy trip

Race 5

Racey Krusa (6) Racing well from bad draws. Looks hard to beat in this field and better draw
Jesper Fast (3) Begins well and has raced well here in the past. Should go close to top three
Rachmaninov (11) Has been disappointing in his last few runs but allow another chance

Race 6

Classie Linc (11) Unlucky runs the last few and a big chance if handier turning for home. Needed
Flo Motion (1) Goes best from the front and might be handy from the draw. Include here
Evidently (10) Goes well on the track and should get a run through early. One for longer odds

Race 7

Foveaux Gambler (14) Good beginner who has a nice finish when saved for one run. Needed
Brando (13) Has run some good races at Nelson and a big improver. Rates highly here.
Blue Rock Dancer (9) Has a bit of speed and should finish well. Top three chance here

Race 8

Buckskin (5) Big effort to beat most of these the last two starts. Could be over the odds
Homebush Lad (9) In good form and hard to beat with the right run in transit. Include
Franco Marek (6) Racing well but needs to race handier. Can run a cheeky race here

Race 9

Ginas Majesty (5) Consistent and always a chance in these stand start grass events. Include
Roydon Muscle (9) Flashed home late last start and a big winning chance in this. Needed
Illegal Alien (8) Fast beginner and in good form. Races well here and could surprise in this field

Race 10

Sister’s Delight (1) Gets the draw she likes and will go close here with a handy run on the pegs
Press Play (8) Good win last start but draw hurts. Needs luck but has winning claims
Special Dream (3) Has been unlucky and drawn much better here. Can run a decent race at odds
