Harness racing hits Rangiora again today with 10 races on the card . The racing starts at 1:10pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Best Value:  R4   Blink N Bones

Race 1

Lotus Franco (3) Coming in fresh and best form in the field. Should run top three with manners
Kowhai Sunburst (6) Small field will help and mobile will help here. Stable respect. Include
Inquizitive Man (1) One paced but normally does things right. Place chance at longer odds

Race 2

Racie Dale (2) Unlucky last start and easier here. Good draw to use and hard to beat with luck
Woodlea Diamond (4) Has early speed and full of running last start with no room. Winning claims
Bettor Fear Me (1) Improver from her last start and weaker field. Top three chance from the ace

Race 3

Echappe (4) Running home well last start and might have too much speed for them. Good chance
Seaside Fantasy (1) Ok last start and a threat to the favourite with a good run in transit
Newbiemains Arden (7) Good effort last start but wider draw. Can sneak into the top three here

Race 4

Blink N Bones (8) Consistent but needs the right trip. Good chance with a soft run in transit
Lookslikeatrixter (1) Better than the form reads and likes the track. Should give a good account
MM Sunshine (7) Out of form but improver with a place chance at longer odds with the right trip

Race 5

Always B You (5) Freshened and looks one of the faster ones in this. Trialed ok and hard to beat
Katherine (1) Good second in a top field last start. Best draw for some time and can go close
Mouton Cadet (4) Will be fitter after last start. Needs a hot pace but not the worst in this

Race 6

Topaz (3) In good form and speedy when saved for one run. Could surprise at longer odds
Caught The Eye (8) Stable respect and has a reputation. Winning claims with a good trip
Bonnie’s Girl (7) Wide draw but top driver booked for this. Stable going well and has claims

Race 7

Major Performer (10) Draw hurts but in form. Has won three from a stand and good chance
Flyaway (9) Did too much work last start and better with a sit. Might need luck but has claims
Sophia Bromac (4) Got too far back last start but ran on. Upset claims with a better run in transit

Race 8

Ann Sophie (2) Gets a head start on most of them from the draw and has placed here. One for odds
Baileys Bay (13) Tricky draw but form is better than it looks. Chance at odds with a cart into it
Westar Molly (1) Drawn well and should get a good run near the speed. Top three chance here

Race 9

Sunny Louis (10) Tidy win last start and conditions suit. Top driver sticks with and hard to beat
Regal Sierra (8) Decent motor and rare gallop last start. One of the better chances back on grit
Rachmaninov (6) Track specialist and place hope again here if the pace is on all the way. Include

Race 10

Quinn (6) Has a decent reputation. Unlucky last start and might head forward here. Winning claims
Social Distancing (5) Gate speed and a good second last start. Has to be respected in this.Needed
Captain Kobe (9) Good tough run last start and can do some work mid race. Good chance
