Harness racing hits Rangiora again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 12:13pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Tres Magnifique (1) Top driver booked and sprint trip will help. Can step and run top three
Rachmaninov (3) Tidy run last start and goes well on the track. Should go well again
Navara (6) Has been running ok races and this field looks within his range. Include

Race 2

Cant Touch This (6) Good third on debut and this is no harder. Top selection
Dulcinea (7) Needs to step but has ability and could surprise at longer odds
Ambleside Drive (5) Freshened slightly for this. Always a place threat in similar races

Race 3

Fernz Goldy (1) Finally gets a good draw and racing well. Top pick in this field
Not Over (9) Better for the last start run but wide draw. Has claims with a cart into it
Opawa Louie (11) Running on late last start. Will be running on again in this. Include

Race 4

Ginas Majesty (2) One paced but this field looks within his grasp. Include here
Brother Love (3) Freshened and looks stronger this campaign. Winning claims
Illegal Alien (1) Looks the early leader and races ok on the track. Could surprise

Race 5

Stellar Arden (1) Racing well in better fields and drawn to suit. Big chance in this
Bobby Waterhouse (5) Better draw and one for longer odds in this field. Include
Killarney Dance (12) Unlucky last start and better here. One of the major players

Jack Tar (5) Should be capable of handling this field. Stand start the only concern here
Jimmy Arma (1) Steps well and might lead early. Can run top three if back to his best
Artatac (6) Draws the 20m handicap but small field will help. Winning claims

Race 7

Celtic Arden (8) Ran home best last start and up to beating this field. Good winning chance
Eyre I Will (10) Manners the key with him. If steps he will be right in it. Needed
Downtown Orlando (13) Wide draw but ran on ok last start. One for longer odds

Race 8

Sweet Coco (11) Drawn ok and big finish last start. Will be running on late here
Scarlett’s Legacy (6) Likely to go forward here and a chance at good odds. Can surprise
Uptown Funk (7) Tidy win when last on course and had excuses last start. Include here

Race 9

Mucho Macho Man (9) Better last start and can go on with it in this field. Good chance
The Conqueror (8) Manners are his forte. Will step well and can go close in this
Foveaux Gambler (16) Drawn badly but not the worst. Can place at longer odds with luck

Race 10

Sky Vale (3) Good gate speed and could be the early leader. Can run top three
Hey Tonight (1) Ok last start and better draw here. Win chance if the pace is on
Mighty Reactor (6) In top form and can compete with this field if he goes forward early
