Harness racing hits Rangiora again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 12:10pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Off The Edge (9) Good second last start and conditions suit here. One of the better chances
Smokin Annie (5) Might get back early but will be running on. Has to be respected here
Foveaux Gambler (6) Handy horse who is out of form. Top three chance if he brings his A-Game

Race 2

George Eliot (9) Drops in class for this and getting fitter. Improver who can go close in this
Special Effects (13) Has performed well in his last few starts. Could surprise with manners
King Of Diamonds (4) Coming in fresh but has the ability to be a threat here. Can run top three

Race 3

Fergalicious (9) Wide draw but has performed in better fields. Top selection here at nice odds
Sweet Tizzy Lou (10) Battled well last start after working hard mid-race. Needed here
Seacracka (3) Will go forward from the draw and good run on debut. Winning claims

Race 4

Whosdreamingnow (9) Has a decent reputation. Hard to beat in this with a cart into the race
Louis (12) Good fourth last start and has gone well at trials on the track. Good top three chance
Miley Ace (3) Plenty of ability and drawn to be a major threat in this. Has to be included

Race 5

Mandalay Bay (9) Wide draw but good enough to make his own luck. Should go close
Just Holla (8) Tricky draw but good beginner. Could be hard to run down if he finds the front
Santanna Mach (4) Good beginner who will go forward early. Racing well and not the worst

Race 6

La Dama (7) Change of trainer and will be ready for this. Goes close with complete manners
Murano  (11) Plenty of ability and could surprise from a tricky draw. Chance at longer odds
Ginas Majesty (4) Coming in fresh and might need a run. No surprise to see him go close

Race 7

Sports Babe (4) Out of form but drawn well and conditions suit. Looks a good chance here
Playing With Stars (8) Has pretty good form. Will need luck but has winning claims
Let’s Go Ringo (1) Tidy draw and always a place chance. Should get a good run on the pegs

Race 8

Oneloveonelife (2) Good draw and likely to be near the front early on. Winning claims
Doctor Tim (4) Has raced well in better fields. Looks a good chance here at nice odds
Michael Caine (5) Freshened and good trial win. Trainer goes well on the track. Needed

Race 9

Love Is Everywhere (2) Top win last start and will be improved. Draw suits and can win again
Sue’s Dash (1) Has raced well in similar fields. Has to be respected and drawn to take advantage
Aiguille (6) Out of form but does have ability. Good chance with a good run in transit

Race 10

Motor Mouth (13) In good form. but tricky draw. Will be finishing on if the pace is hot
King Arthur (6) Racing well and should go forward early from the draw. Major player in this
Tower Of Love (14) At his best would be a threat. Chance with a cart into the race. Needed
