Harness racing hits Rangiora again today with 10 races on the card . The racing starts at 12:00pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Aldebaran Redwood (7) Trotting well at the moment. Should run top three with manners
Inquizitive Man (5) Should begin quickly. Racing well enough to run top four again. Needed
Dragonhill (12) Getting better with racing and one for longer odds in this. Place hope

Race 2

Mariana Trench (12) Tricky draw but the form says she runs top two. Has to be included
Jena (6) Has early speed to be one of the leaders and top driver booked. One of the main chances
She’s A Major Act (1) Improver from her last start and drawn well. Top three chance here

Race 3

Manakau Blaze (10) Has been good in both his race day appearances. Nice run expected again
Transtasman Bubble (9) Stand has been his nemesis last couple but a chance with a quick beginning
Diamond Harbour (5) Good effort last start and better draw. Can sneak into the top three here

Race 4

Treasure Cove (10) Freshened and big reputation. Will go close if he handles the stand start here
Quicker Than Quick (5) Better than the form suggests. Should give a good account with manners
Normie Stead (1) Better run for new stable last start. An improver with a place chance at longer odds

Race 5

Kourtney Kardash (11) Grass stats excellent and form as well. Top selection in this but will need luck
Lonnekers (13) Had excuses last start and well placed here. Good each way chance back on grass
Hacksaw Ridge (15) Will be fitter after last start. Could loop the field early and try to lead. Include

Race 6

Silverlinings (13) Good against a way similar field last start. Hard to beat against this lot
Racey Krusa (4) Should get a soft run handy. Winning claims from the draw. Include
Prince Teka (5) Due to show form and drawn well here. Possible leader in this field

Race 7

Vessem (11) Draw hurts but has raced well in better fields. Can run a tidy race on the grass
Franco Marek (14) Difficult handicap but loves it here. Might need luck but good win. Needed
Cocktails And Caviar (4) Has been good in trials. Upset claims with manners in this field

Race 8

Judine (3) Gets a head start on the favourites. Will need a good trip but could surprise here
Farewell Spit (5) Good win last start and should go close to placing in this. Grass suits
Hope For Love (1) In good form and should get a good run near the speed. Top three chance

Race 9

Paris Prince (11) Good form for this and grass stats are good. Tricky handicap but can win
Torvi (9) Disappointing last start. Place hope here if she brings manners. Has to be included
Love Walked In (2) Decent motor and going for three in a row. One of the better chances

Race 10

Social Distancing (5) Gate speed to race handy and form is ok. One for longer odds in this
Lasa (7) Wide draw but better than most in this field. Getting fitter and should give a good sight
Shine All Over Me (3) Good finish last start and can do some work mid race. Top three chance
