Harness racing hits Rangiora again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 12:41pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Best Bet:  R1   Chris Kyle

Best Value:  R8   Ruby’s A Delight

Race 1

Chris Kyle (7) Weaker field here and last years leading driver booked . Should be hard to beat here
Foveaux Gambler (4) Normally close up in amateur drivers races. Can run top three again here
Arizonawildcat (5) Better last start and small field helps. Will be there around the top four in this

Race 2

Real Moonshine (3) Has looked ok at trials and drawn well on debut. Winning claims with manners
The Gardener’s Pride (1) Getting better with racing. Should go close to top three from the draw
Hayley Mhor (2) Drawn to race handy and has to respected in this field after good second last start

Race 3

Millwood Goddess (7) Racing well in stronger field at Addington. Top selection in this field
Shapely (2) Improving runs last couple. Can run top three here with a good run in transit
The Bettor Major (8) Running home well last start and should be suited here. Needed here

Race 4

Buddha (1) Trialing well and drawn to produce a big run on debut. Trainer respect and can win
Blazing Reactor (3) Good run in a fresh condition last start. Should be improved and needed here
Teetan (7) Has been disappointing on race day after some decent trial efforts. One for longer odds

Race 5

Wudabubbit (2) Drawn well and easy win last start. Rise in grade but can go close again here
Mainbocher (6) Manners the key with him and no doubting the ability. Win chance with no errors
Downtown Orlando (9) Needs a quicker beginning to show his best. Chance with a cart into it

Race 6

Dance With The Boss (10) Has not had a lot of luck but pops up now and then. One for odds
Cardi B (4) Tidy finish in a better field last start and conditions suit. Easier here and can run top three
The Conqueror (1) Quick beginner who will race handy to the speed. Place chance in this field

Race 7

Fergalicious (11) Tricky draw but still good enough to win. Should get a run through from the draw
White Star Orlando (5) Has disappointed the last few starts. Needs luck but has claims in this
Baltimore Jill (4) Not that tough but has a good finish when save for one run. Could surprise 

Race 8

Ruby’s A Delight (3) No form but races well on the track. Chance at longer odds with luck
Absolute Dynamite (10) One paced and races best with one run at them off a hot pace. Include
Lady Boutique (6) At her best would go close in this. Getting better and has winning claims

Race 9

Clyde (4) Fast beginner off the mobile. Likely leader who can stick on for a place in this. Include
Rachmaninov (1) Decent track stats and could be trailing the right horse. One for longer odds
Miss Yo (8) Draw hurts but top driver booked and in great form. Can win again with the right trip

Race 10

Dare Devil (9) Tricky draw but should give a good account with a cart into the race. Top selection
Tremendous Lover (1) Races well on the track and drawn to be a major player here. Winning claims
Just Follow Me (5) No form but has a decent motor. Good chance at longer odds with a good trip
