Harness racing hits Rangiora again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 12:59pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Arizonawildcat (8) Has been racing well and looks the top selection in this. Needed
Ruby’s A Delight (10) Ignore the previous race as had excuses. Much better placed Include
Phone Tap (1) Drawn to get a soft run on the pegs. Has been racing well with similar runs

Race 2

Eddie Osei (1) Trialing well and likely to head forward. One of the major players
Rocketman  (3) Tidy draw and a quick beginner. Can run top three in this field
Ambleside Drive (9) Has been racing well and only needs to step to be a threat. Needed

Race 3

Millwood Goddess (7) Top run on debut. Tricky draw but should be hard to beat
God Dam (1) Ran ok last start and should be handy early. Decent place hopes here
Woodlea Jewel (3) Fast off the gate and could be the early leader. Top three chance

Race 4

Mighty Logan (4) Big win last start and suited by the small field. Hard to beat again
Helloveamoment (6) Coming in freshened and has the speed to compete. Could surprise
Natives Inferno (3) Good run last start. Manners not great but has winning claims

Race 5

Jordy (6) Mobile will suit and will be running on. Only needs luck to be right in it
Sophia Bromac (11) Tricky draw but top driver booked. Great top three chance
Barnstormer (9) Has a tricky draw but good enough to be a chance with the right trip.

Race 6

Classie Linc (2) A bit in or out but this race suits again. Winning claims with luck in running
Arden’s Delight (1) Will be better for the last start run and drawn to trail here. Include
Get Back (5) Good form and can run time. Not the worst in this field. Needed here

Race 7

Yankee Jay (7) Ran home well last start and will be improved. Good chance here
Rake (5) Goes well in the stand 2600m races. Chance of the front at longer odds
Blue Rock Dancer (11) Ok last start and consistent. Winning claims again in this

Race 8

Martha Stuart (7) Ok last start and might be close to the speed here. Liked
Boyz Invasion (5) Manners a concern but big on ability. Mobile gives him a shot at it
Wynberg Watch (8) Big run to win last start running a quick last 800m. Can win again

Race 9

Jack Tar (3) Racing well better draw this week. Good winning chance, Needed
Proviseur (4) Better than the form suggests. Could surprise at big odds in this field
Watch That Man (1) Has the draw to be a major threat if the pace is on. Include
