Harness racing hits Riverton again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 12:19pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Julie Jaccka (1) Has a reputation and trials have been good. Top selection
Majesdix (5) Running on on debut and small field will help. Can run top three
Kyle Loch (6) Has been a bit disappointing but better suited here. One for longer odds

Race 2

Better Be Watching (3) Driver change and has been racing well. Hard to beat in this
Donald Trot (4) Likely to receive a good run from the draw. Can run top three with luck
Call Me Sir (2) Has placed the last couple and weaker field here. Place hope again

Race 3

I’m Watching You (5) Impressive form and looks hardest to beat in this field. Needed
Atarah (8) Good run last start but tricky draw. Will need luck in the running but can place
Sherwood Maggie (2) Conditions suit and she could be over the odds. Good beginner

Race 4

Netherton Franco  (1) Drops into an easier field and drawn to lead. Top selection
Magic Sign (7) Runs the odd good race but will drop back early. Will be running on
Cast A Shadow (10) Should get a run through early. Tough stayer who needs the pace on

Race 5

Rakadan (6) Good run for second against a top horse last start One of the better chances
Scruffy (3) Getting fitter with racing and drawn to race handy. Can surprise at longer odds.
Duke Of Scotland (8) Wide draw here but good second last start. Chance with a good trip

Race 6

Beach Day (4) Tough field but she won well on debut. Should be there about again here
What A Minx (6) Going for three in a row but toughest test to date. Winning claims
Betta Watch Out (7) Raced good fields last season and should be stronger. Need here

Race 7

Onwardsandupwards (8) Terrible draw nut can overcome it. One of the major players in this field
Conquer Clare (2) Has run some good races against similar fields. Winning claims from the draw
Need A Change (5) Has a bit of gate speed and top driver booked. Can go close to top three here

Race 8

Miss Jessica (6) Two nice efforts to win the last couple and can make it three with luck in running
Dem Bones Dem Bones (4) Racing well and looks a good top three chance in this field
Minnie McGoogan (3) Drawn well and an even field here. Top three chance with luck

Race 9

Nutcracker (6) Back in form and getting fitter. Tons of speed and can run top three. Include
Westar Lad (3) Gets a better draw to work with and raced a strong field last start. Include
The Big Lebowski (9) Coming in fresh and will get a soft run on the pegs. Could surprise

Race 10

Boarding Call (2) Plenty of ability and big run at Addington. Can go close here with no mistakes
Wattlebank Arnie (7) Tricky draw but looked unlucky last start. One of the better chances
McLean (3) Good draw and he is racing well. Capable of placing with a good run in transit
