Harness racing hits Riverton again today with 11 races on the card. The racing starts at 12:20pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Searing Light (2) Drawn well and grass suits. Looks one of the better chances in this line up
Airwaves (5) Should begin quickly and likely leader in the race. Can stick on for a top three finish
Ramblin Rover (3) Draw and conditions of the race make him one of the better chances in this 

Race 2

Brother Rob (8) Big run for second fresh on grass and has to be included in all calculations here
Arma Forest (6) Driver and stable respect in this and should give a good account in this. Needed
Shergar (2) Improver from her last start and grass track might suit. Top three chance again

Race 3

Domination’s Call (2) Loves the grass surface and hard to beat if she gets a good trip. Top selection
Practical Magic (1) Can ignore some of her last runs through bad luck. Quick improver at odds
Jimmy Carter (4) Good effort last start and grass track will suit. Can sneak a top three again

Race 4

Dame West (4) Solid second last start and a winning chance again from the draw.  Winning claims
Sure To Rise (8) Better run last start and should give a good sight here. Top three claims in this
Havtimefordiamonds (6) Out of form but improver with a place chance at longer odds in this field

Race 5

What’s The Whisper (8) Fought on last start and great recent form. One of the better chances in this
Daisymerollin (10) Coming in fresh from a powerful stable and each way claims. Will need manners
Garonne (1) Much better last start. Best draw and can upset with the right run. Include in all calculations

Race 6

Tuneinsportsfans (4) Grass track will suit and likely to head forward early. Top selection at longer odds
Nyla (3) Races ok on grass and has gate speed to get handy early. Good each way chance from the draw
Threebeersdeep (6) Needs the right trip but capable of running top three in this field. Not the worst

Race 7

Spiritinthesky (2) Needs to begin safely but back in class here and can run top three with a soft trip
Granny Rose (6) Should get a soft run handy. Top three hope from the draw and a good beginner. Needed
Errol D (10) Due to show form and could surprise if he gets away safely in this. One for longer odds here

Race 8

Wag Star (8) Big drop in class and should go close to winning if he handle the grass track. Needed here
Beach Day (6) Decent motor and could upset if fully fit. Grass no issue and top three claims look best
Hacksaw Ridge (4) Nice win last start. Loves grass tracks and is a win chance again if he finds the front

Race 9

Wild East (3) Good when right and can go close here if he handles the grass surface. Top selection
Foliejon Star (5) Form is good and grass suits. One of the better chances with a soft run in transit
Our Twinkle  (2) Can not ignore the form but up in grade for this. Should be thereabouts again

Race 10

Torquay Street (6) Conditions suit and looks a good bet with a fast beginning. Has to be included
Majesdix (2) Good draw and better than most in this field. Has to be respected from the stand
Buffy Northstains (1) A bit in or out but at her best would be a good win chance. Could surprise

Race 11

Insarchatwist (5) Has been racing better fields and races best on grass. Top selection in this field
Tua Lipa (6) Better run to win last start. Has to be respected but wide draw and driver change
Bobbies Rock (7) Goes well on grass and ok last start. Not the worst at longer odds with a cart into it
