Harness racing hits Tauherenikau again today with four races on the card . The racing starts at 11:30am and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Highview Rockn Roll (6) Running on last start. Should run top three here with manners
Son Of Patrick (7) Small field will help and weaker opposition. Stable respect. Needed
Cosmic Angel (2) Getting better with racing and gets a head start on favourites. Grass suits

Race 2

Megyn Kelly (10) Stable always does well on the circuit and not bad last start. Has to be included
Miss Woodville (7) Has toughness on her side and will be fitter. Weak grass stats but one for odds
Miki’s Moment (2) Well bred and trainer has a nice record with grass first starters. Top three 

Race 3

The Elite Athlete (4) Conditions suit and in a good run of form. Nice run expected and needed here
Call Security (6) Ok last start and grass stats good. Hard to beat with a good run in transit. Include
Baileys Pitch (8) Good effort last start and never far away from top four. Can sneak into the placings

Race 4

What A Minx (8) Big drop in quality of opposition. Goes well on grass and big chance in this field
Cristiano Buccini (1) Has gate speed and 50% place record on grass. Should give a good account
Uncle Drew (5) Always a chance back on the grass surface. Good enough to run top three here
